He does not throw his racquet. He does not disrespect ball kids or referees. And most especially he doesn't look toward his coaching box, throwing blame in their direction, like many others. His stated main goal is to make his family proud of him as a person first and a player secondarily. Many say family is important. Rafa lives this.
Not only a great athlete, but a pretty special human being, too. With all his fame, money and adulation, he remains grounded, humble, respectful of everyone, and kind.
@@TheFlyGuy87 Rafa actually came from a very comfortably off family, and lacked for nothing, but he was given a very good grounding in how to behave, on and off the court, by not only his parents, but uncle Toni too.
@@TheFlyGuy87 small island? Didn't have anything..? No.. Mallorca is a rich island and his family is a sporting family. Maybe what you say is true for Cristiano Ronaldo or Messi, but not for Rafa
How many other “stars” would clean their own machines and rake the clay on court. Rafa is a humble guy and no matter how many titles he wins or how much money he has that will not change.
When I first saw Rafa as a green rookie bursting onto the men's game I knew that Roger had met his greatest rival and friend. The two giants of men's tennis.
Why people loves him ? Because everybody loves his qualities.. even you are not his fan. You have to be blind if you can't see his humbleness, his warrior spirit, and all the efforts he have made to struggle with his borned condition in his knee and try to keep his game level on top. Not have been easy for him.....but that is my Rafa.
seeing these comments makes me cry 😢 my parents LOVE Roger federer, and I was raised to love him as well. He was my favorite player for about a year or two, but then I fell in love with tennis and discovered Rafa. I love Roger, he's great, almost perfect, but I love Rafa more ❤
He is polite humble has respect to everyone. He fights and he wins. As an athlete has achieved many and great thins. BUT AS A MAN has achieved MORE. Bravo Rafa happy to see you playing
He is the best player in all sense . He is the most humble athlete and moreover a combination of humanity and sportsmanship. Vamos Rafa. We love you.💘🤩
I'm in Australia and hoping Rafa wins. He is the Gentleman of Tennis. A true Champion, no one like him ~Yes we love him. As the song goes ~ "He Is The Champion"
@@bojanpetrovic3102 you should blame Djokovic. He just needed to take the vaccine. The medical exemption was for people who wanted to take the vaccine but couldn't, not people who didn't want to take it
@@tomlini9793 How do you know he can take it? He may have some disease or disorder that forbids him to take the vaccine. Also, he had Covid before coming to Australia and that forbids taking vaccine for some time. Even Pfizer CEO confirmed that. He wasn't threat for anyone in Australia in any way, but he is first athlete who was deported and disabled to defend the title just because he refused to take the vaccine, what has used to be choice of every single individual so far. Australian politicians explained that his stand could encourage other people not to take their shots. Can you believe it? I am not against vaccination and modern medicine but I am against forcing people to do what they don't want to do, especially if they are not threat for others.
I always thought why I like Rafa, why I like his style of play, now I understand why, because if I would such athlete and so famous I would be same in everything I do, he is not perfect but he does his best to be, always trying to improve whatever he does, incredible man.
There's really absolutely nothing bad you can say about Rafa!! What you see is what you get with him and he's genuine all the way to his core. Goodness and humility just flow from him. He really is perfect in every way possible and imaginable.
there are thousands of professional tennis players. I bet any money that there is nobody like nadal in terms of his actions on court. Never breaks a racquet, always respectful even if something is done stupidly by an umpire. hes a class act and an example of how to be in life.
Young Nadal always reminds me of Mowgli from The Jungle Book. The look but also he seems so bewildered with all the trappings of civilized society. Lol. It's great.
That's excatly what I thought the first time I saw him play at Roland-Garros against Sébastien Grosjean! And then for the finale I had forgoten his name, I called him like Mowgli in french : le petit d'homme 😊
Trust the Anglos and the French to be paternalistic towards Spaniards 😂 Rafa grew up in a relatively well-off middle class home in Mallorca, playground island of royal families and millionaires. He was probably more sophisticated and well travelled than you and me by the time he was 10 y/o. In Spain most parents try and bring up their children to be kind, modest and down to earth. That is at least is the aim and the expectation. Having airs is generally frowned upon, as opposed to other cultures where the wealthier amongst us are brought up to feel innately superior and to look down on others. People from other countries could interpret his naturality as him being a 'Mowgli' or even a bit simple, but he's never been a fool.
HE'S AMAZING IN EVERY WAY! I'm SO proud of him. So proud of being Spanish, and having one of the most humble and best players of all the time!!! RAFA NADAL!
A fierce competitor with unbelievable work ethic and humble about his accomplishments. Also worth noting he never blames anything or anyone else if he loses a game. He regroups and works even harder next time. An amazing champion
He is a consumate gentlemen and you can trace that from his frankness, transparency, endeavour, humility and upbringing ..He is in the same class with Roger Federer and Step Curry of S F Warriors.Very humble in spite of what they had already accomplished in life...Great example for mens tennis...and most importantly, for human being...
Nadal is the most professional tennis player and i admire his being so humble ..i respect the guy for being a hard working honest player...God bless you nadal
In sports it is very difficult to be one of the best in history (if not the best) and at the same time remain humble, keep your feet on the ground and be an example for children and young people and Nadal fully complies with all this, just like Federer. Not everyone can say the same. Thanks for so much Rafa.
Rafa is the whole package!! Incredibly humble guy and we have taken so much inspirtion from just 1 player!! We hope to meet nadal one day in person :) we even post videos ourselves to see what we can improve if anyone has tips or feedback let us know
Rafael Nadal a thorough understanding n cosiderate human being. Always sporting n helping others. He never misbehaves on court with anyone nor does he break his racquets or tear his t-shirts like others.
Raffa is the ultimate player. Great sense of humour entertaining, respectful, he's the best out of all the players in the world! In my opinion. I hope to see him in Melbourne 2022.
Al principio del video, cuando se detiene el partido para buscar a la niña, alguien le dice algo a Rafa y se le oye responder "no, no, no... Lo primero es lo primero". Grande como siempre.
for years i've been entrenched in fed being the greatest of all time, but rafa's bid is too irresistible. the greatest is more than just tennis; its the intangibles that go along with it. rafa is the greatest of all time.
Rafa no solo es un gran campeón, es una inspiración para la vida. Para mi sin duda el mejor atleta español de la historia por todos los valores que representa. Imposible no quererle
From Canada I recently started to look at tennis matches because I never took the time to understand the game. Now that I do, there are some players (male & female) that I admire so much. Mr. Raffa Nadal is my #1 player. Admire him for his professionalism, respectful, focus and a true sport's man. Hardly shows his emotions when winning or losing. Until of course when he wins. Humble man. Occasionally I notice he would do a two-step (I call it a happy dance).
