In this video you learn what cases are for. On this platform you can practice them: activerussian.com/
Many languages including Russian, Ukrainian, Polish, Latin, Greek, Hungarian, Sanskrit have grammar cases, while others like English or Chinese don't. Cases might seem to be unnecessary complication for language learners, but they exist for a reason. In this video you will find out what is their role in Russian, how they are connected with other features of the language, and how you can view them as tools, not obstacles.

My native language is German, a language with cases. I learned Sanskrit in India, a language with eight cases. I find it natural that a language has cases. Only English has no cases.
@LearnRussianStanislavAcademy
Modern Roman languages have lost cases, but Latin had them
@LearnRussianStanislavAcademy
Among Slavic languages only Bulgarian doesn’t have cases

If you think Russian is grammatically complex, try Finnish. 15 cases.
