Almost didn't watch it.... glad I did. Loved your reasons for singlehanded sailing. And the concept of doing it on a older boat while you two age gracefully.... love the idea.

This is a really neat way to do a question and answer. Everything now would be done live of course but I can tell this has a more thought out, written out, feeling to it and I really like it. Great video

You were a hang pilot!?! (Christian obviously). I hitched to New Mexico from Michigan by way of Key West. Left the Conch Republic en route to the high desert as a crew member on a 34’, at night, in 3m+ waves and 30+ knot wind. More hitching landed me on a NM mountain for 2 months and then, as per the fall winds blowing me south to Albuquerque, my second day had me jumping off the crest in a tandem glider. I hung with the hang pilots for a while and logged some training hours. Never got a wing. Been here over 2 decades and am deeply researching sailing as I miss it greatly. Outside of music, it was my everything growing up on Lake Michigan. My best to you both. Let me know if you need some crew.

I really enjoyed watching Christian's "Alone Together" video back in 2014. It forced me into single-handed sailing the Northwest Passage to the Far East.....in my minds future. This was also another interesting video.....thank you Kourtney!

Nice! I too warmed to solo sailing due partly to the ease of not worrying about others. I really love the company and sharing the experiences with others but everyone often has their own deadlines and that can be really hazardous when making the judgement calls, particularly weather related ones. Oh it wont be too bad, and whammo! I am really enjoying your yarns Mr Williams. Thank you.

Just finished your book and now I think I'll read it again. I've also watched the video several times. Just love the solo sailing concept. Ready for the next adventure though.

Great idea Christian, Kourtney. Thanks for sharing. My Ian used to fly hang gliders as well and now that hes a sailor, he also finds that in many ways he prefers sailing single handed, do you think there might be a connection?

Thanks for another great video. I can relate to the irrational need for a project when you already have a completed project. Are you perhaps an engineer? Engineers are never happy unless we are fixing something.

Is it just me, or does she have a very difficult time explaining herself, and staying on point.. Maybe it's just that Christian is so extremely articulate and silky smooth, that by comparison she's like a third grader during an oral presentation. Now that's being rather rude. Forgive me father.
