@@Dosthkachhi its not Width by 2 . in cylinder after 150 mm it will be pure uniaxial loading . in Cube once u reach 150 mm , its end of your cube , so no furthur pure uniaxial loading .
In Cube , after 150 mm the cube ends , in cylinder my width is 150 mm , so this effect will be till 150 mm after that the platens effect will end , so the cylinder strength is less . load is applied from top And saint Venants principle says that its from Top width we should consider .
