This video was a great insight into what you are going through and feeling ,and I thank you for opening up and discussing how you feel. The negative comments are not from your fans and supporters, those people are either jealous, or just have such crappy lives they try to make themselves feel better knocking your dreams and goals. You and your crew, friends , and family work hard doing this racing gig. Your family obviously love and support you, or they would not make the sacrifices they have ..And you are very mature in your appreciation of what you need to do for your future, can't wait to see the videos coming, the new toterhome , more racing. I remember running into y’all at the gas station one night after running at Deep South speedway and I talked to chase and he was yes sir, no sir, and thank you for following and watching. I can attest to what your mom said. If anyone has a conversation with Chase can see he’s a great kid. Just the way he talks in this video is testament to it also. Keep growing Chase. Look at hunt the front. They struggle against the National tour guys too. Keep looking forward and pay your dues young man.
I am a 75 year old retired businessman who with my wife raised two children. One is a teacher and noted artist, the other a onward winning wine maker. They were both competitive ski racers prior and during their college years. I see the same in Chase. Don’t let his calm demeanor fool you. I see it. I also feel his Mom and Dad have and are raising a happy and loving family…… it shows When you watch how happy and articulate both young ladies present themselves. I truly have enjoyed their camera work and commentary! Precious. Please stick with your game plan. Just wanna let y’all know that watching these videos has meant so much to me and that there have been times I have really been down and out, depressed and watching these videos has helped me so much by taking my mind off things. I don’t have a family and it’s cool watching the whole family effort to accomplish one goal. In my opinion the main thing you have done wrong is bring light to the negative comments, and then dad gets mad and it shows it does get to you, and the trolls see it and keep poking. I live in the heart of USMTS country and have followed it from the beginning, not very many people jump into that series that doesn’t have major backing or very wealthy family, the one racer that came into USMTS as a young racer pulling a open trailer and made noise was Ryan Gustin, and that didn’t take long for him to get picked up by someone with exceptional backing, there are not very many car owners looking for drivers that have competitive equipment in this series, and there have been plenty that had all the money and everything needed but got out because is was to tough on them, so the ones that are poking you know this and will keep doing it if you give them attention.
Could not have said it any better. The only thing I would add is delegation of some important jobs. The job of PR is just as important as a lead mechanic and person prepping tires. Every job is equally necessary and while some are more critical, the job of PR can be one of most challenging job responsibilities when it comes to interacting with your subscribers, potential sponsors and the media.
Completely agree with this statement, one other thing is Chase and the family chose to put their racing life on the internet, if you ask ANY “youtuber” with a decent following they will tell you about the negativity of it….its just a part of putting a piece of your life out there unfortunately…… Best of luck on tour and in life bud.
All of this. Anyone who thought a 19 year old running Mods in South MS was going to come up and win races in USMTS does not know what is going on. For those who don’t know the USMTS is not support class Mods like it is viewed in the S/SE. These are well funded open motor stacker trailer toter home big boy racing.

You have a lot of sponsors/marketing people who believe in you and lots of fans. I have personally hated negative comments for anything all my life! Mr Rocky said it best and put a PERIOD on the negativity as far as I am concerned when he said: show us your racing videos, show us your accomplishments. As my driver from back in the day had written on his wall then, and its still there today some 40yrs later: knowers don't talk, talkers don't know. I will be honest, I see the toterhome as a two fold...yes it will help being able to bring 2 cars but unless u get a bigger trailer as well... the trailer now is full with just 1 car as well as the other trailer, 2 cars will fit in ur trailer but what about the tire rack, Miss Avery's march cart, tool boxes, etc. I know how much toters are, I have priced them, new and used. They are in many cases more than a real home. I know u have already arranged financing, on that note I was gonna suggest dirt track bank, thats whom finances hunt the front and they just bought yet another brand new trailer based on their videos. That bank understands racers of all ages, as well as racing as a business and occupation. I personally think some of the questions of if ur heads in it is based on what you said last year: that you are running for rookie of the year this year, but wont be running the tour next year, ( and please feel free to correct me on that if I am wrong) but thats your business, not ours, and shouldnt factor into your season thus far nor in the minds of the fans...I just wish, as your mom once said, and yes I know ur 19, but I LOVED it when she said she wouldn't let you read comments and I wish she would keep doing that. Imho, ur focus should only b on that racecar...listen to, HEED the words of John Force: you need to eat, sleep, breath, love that racecar. Focusing on negative comments only plays with your head, and adults especially should know and understand that and not do it. Someone once said: if you don't have anything good to say, don't say anything. ( think it was my dad when he was alive) Young man, you have a HELLUVA family support system, I personally think Miss Avery would jump over your dad to go 9 rounds with ANYONE of ANY SIZE ANYTIME if she heard them using negative towards you! Not all families have that support, YOU DO! Please, please, PLEASE concentrate on that and not on negative comments!! Everyone breaks equipment, everyone has bad days, its how one deals with that which makes the difference! Ron Jones had bad days. Mark noble had bad days. John force has had MANY on fire literally, days. Donny schatz had bad days. For those of you that don't know nor recognize the names, google them. I'm a disabled man, not complaining, trying to race myself. Chase I'm on the other end from you, being in my 50's, disabled and on fixed income. I completely understand how you feel when you're doing all you can and some nights it's just not enough. I race enduros in a Kia., very under powered and very slow. I can't afford to buy a bigger, faster car with my current situation. Yes, it sucks, but like you, I am paying my dues trying to learn to race, hoping I don't break it and praying that I can fix what I do tear up. Keep your head up and your eyes on God. He won't let you down and will lead you to exactly where He wants you to be. Forget about the haters, just water off a duck's back young man. My Guy remember what you said RU-vid is your job thats were its funded so dont run from the camera. the worst thing you can do is run from the camera when your losing. Your a Hell of a racer at 19 and your gonna take Big L 's several nights in a row but dont be that guy to not get on camera when you are taking L's and when you do win UMTS event because with your talent you will win and then your gonna jump on camera. When we dont hear from you for a month straight we dont know where you stand but you want us to keep watching. YOU WILL WIN . You never know whos watching or going to want and talk with you. i have commented several times and i made the mistake you are making now just because your losing now dont let it effect how you are on camera and with people its sad but we cant do that. I had a pro baseball scout come to one of my highschool baseball games and didnt know it. i had a bad day acted like a baby and he got up and walked out. i didnt know he was there my dad told me later. that this scout from the Kansas city royals was there to see me and i acted like a baby so he left. i embarrassed my Dad and myself im just trying to be helpful .

Hey Don't hang your head. Your doing great. Your running against the toughest modified series in the country. We've ran with this series in 1996-2005. Of and on. And let me tell you. Your doing great. I was there with Wayne Brooks, when Jason Hughes started running the big show. He was a young man just like you and struggled alone. But look now. A veteran in the sport. I'll say it again Keep-a-hammerin. And if you don't know who Wayne Brooks is ask Terry Phillips or Jason. They know who he is.

Chase you have to remember these people on RU-vid & social media that are talking shit bashing you. Are just haters. They talk just to hear there self talk probably never even drove a race car. Not the mention Are more then likely grown ass men in there 30s40s 50 years down n talking crap to a 19 year old kid. That right there should show you about them as a person. The people that are sending neg comments are more than likely jealous and have nothing better to do. You do have a good head on your shoulders and from what I can tell you work very hard for what you have. I race mods and had to do it close to home for the last 16 years because I didn't have the means of going out on tour. I'm almost 44 yrs old and finally have made enough money to run a touring series around Texas and Oklahoma called the TOMS series. I still have the burn to want to run at least 1 season with the USMTS guys, so don't ever give up. I live by a quote I put on every one of my race cars "REMEMBER, YOU DON'T DESERVE ANYTHING, YOU GO OUT AND EARN IT! And from what I've seen your earning your way. Don't give up young man. Keep your faith in yourself. You are a credit to the sport of automobile racing. I am 76 years old and from the northeast (New York - New England}. The dirt modifieds are somewhat similar to yours. Asphalt modifieds are a whole different beast. I worked on asphalt modifieds for more than 50 years. The asphalt tracks we raced at are up and down the East Coast from Florida to Maine. I now follow the dirt modifieds at tracks primarily in New York and Pennsylvania.
Remember this too. And I don't like Nascar stuff very much, but the facts stand for themselves. For as great as Bill Elliott became, it took him from 1976 to 1983 before he got his first Nascar win. 7 years. Good things take time!

Chase people who talk 💩, are either jealous or aren't in a family like yours. Your family always on the channel show the most respect to each other and strangers. We only see 1/5 of your life and heck I'm jealous, but I was raised to be respectful. If people only knew how much hard work was put in the other 3/5 of the day. (Everyone has to sleep, 1/5 is not enough for me). Take the negative comments and use it as fuel. If the people with negative things to say would put that time in anything else, the might have the success and good nature you and you family do. Wow! I recall awhile back Chavis saying something about negative comments. Although i didn't think it was on that bad of a level.! I would also like to apologize to you for a comment or two!! I did notice you in a weird mind set. Although now i most definitely understand why! Dang i would understand why/how Chavis would feel that way. Our youngest is 19 and i would feel the exact same way if anyone would be that way to him!!.. Chase look at hunt the front. Joseph is a hell of a wheel man. They got all of the equipment. He’s struggled man. You don’t have setups sheet on the tour tracks. And like Joseph especially Joseph he had to adjust to tour driving styles. Ppl don’t throw hard sliders for $800 win. Make it 30k And you have guy chop your nose on lap 2. Hang in there kid your in a position that most ppl won’t be in at 40. Your blessed with opportunities and talent. Ppl get jealous heck I’m jealous but I know you don’t deserve the hate.
Really enjoying your videos, and nothing is going to change that. I want to keep it 100% I don't like this one. Maybe this RU-vid thing isn’t for you, never address your critics. There are undertones and jabs in many of your videos about your critics, no need for it. I just think while getting this off your chest in somewhat therapeutic I don’t think it helps and opens you up to more critics. Almost 2 years ago I came from the hospital after my mother's passing and 1st thing I had seen on RU-vid that day was a video you just released, and watching that day I believe it was a shout video to where all the family was involved And the video totally inspired me that things would be OK When it comes to keeping my family together. Certainly its your car, and your team in the end, so your make those decisions. I don't think anyone will think otherwise, and you have to do what's best for your investment, monetarily, emotionally and otherwise. Personally, while I've met all of you, I don't know you, only what I see on video, and it's fairly clear that you pushed as hard as you could, but circumstances got the best of you. Some of the negativity was what you put up on shorts/videos, etc. like who drives all the way to the Midwest and starts hoping they rain out? I would never have known that had it not been put in your video. I'm glad you show all of it, happy and sad. We're also invested in watching. It's why we watch, it's why you make income as an internet team (sponsors you roll out in video, etc), we're invested too, we can't make decisions, only react to what you do. It's part of the passion we have for racing and for what you are doing... we buy merch, and hopefully will keep supporting a renewed push as you move forward. Haters gonna Hate. You’ll be fine. I’ve seen way more accomplished try and give up after a year. There are some who are way more accomplished and never try to do it. USMTS is the best of the best. Many UMP Wissota and IMCA drivers never even give it a chance.
Chase , keep doing what you are doing. Not many young men have their family backing them and doing what you are doing. Keep pushing. Negativity and jealously in people make them real nasty. Ignore the keyboard warriors.
Chase, I've never met you in person, probably never will. But one thing you are not, is negative or in over your head. The people that trash you have no idea what it takes in this sport. You are on the right track to huge things. The fact that you are investing in a very high dollar piece of equipment that you really need to grow your team, and I've thought of that many times watching your videos that you really need to be able to haul a backup car with you. Your 19 years old, taking on responsibility that most 40 year olds won't. Kudos to you. Just tune out the haters. Chase I thought you are doing an awesome job and you guys said this was going to be a tough stretch for the team and you all did awesome with everything that happened, you overcame that. Like you said how do you get better, by racing the better cars and competition. It is humbling for sure, but you proved you can dig and make it for the next round. This is what you need to do not only for a small group but for yourself. You have to realize that like you said you are a rookie. Not only in USMTS but in the higher rung of racing. Take a few races try different things and learn about different places on the track. EXPERIMENT. I had a boss when I was your age that told me that if I was not screwing up I was not trying hard enough.
My Man!! I am blown away right now by the fact that your only 19 years old!!! I NEVER would have had a guess at your age that was under 24!!! You are an awesome young man!!! Mom and Dad need (I know they are) to be proud and also take some credit for who you’ve become!! Don’t let the haters bring you down son……..Just let them make you stronger so at the end of the day you can show them a finger or 2!!!

Just remember that when you put your racing life on social media, you are opening the door for anybody and everybody to peek in. Everybody could do your job better than you (just ask them). Its good and feels great to get pats on the back, but the world isn't that way. Do what you love, love your family and friends and don't let the negative comments get you down. I know that is easier said than done, but listen to the adults around you. The have enough life experience that they have had ups and downs and realize what's important. Being only 19, you are just getting to see how some people in this world are. Don't let them get you down. Follow your dreams and enjoy what you're doing.
Chase you don't owe any apologies or answers to people on social media. I think the majority of not just racing fans but all sports understands there's emotions after a race or game,and the ones that don't imo aren't really fans. Your coming along learning and doing it the rigjt way. Also racing is your job,but like any other job you to be able to have a life and enjoy other aspects of life outside of racing. I just wanted to add that I have watched you for quite some time and have been very impressed by your convictions, tenacity, and determination. Plus you are a super nice young man. Just keep up what you are doing and you will succeed. Don`t pay any attention to the naysayers. Most of them are just jealous of you and what you have accomplished in your young life. Chase what you do is awesome! For guys like me that can’t race because of life. I appreciate you videoing so I can live a little threw them. Also getting the chance to come help you at East Bay the last time you were there. Was a dream come true. You treated me with complete respect. Chase, just hang in there young man, at one time we all were just starting out. No matter what profession there’s always a beginning, and it’s hard, your mind set is right, your family has your back, and as time passes with all parents they will slowly step back. I have 2 wonderful sons of my own, both married and on their own. Their mom passed when they were 17 and 13, did my best, times got hard. But you know they did ok made dad proud and now ones an RN, and the other a the other a class4 mechanic and supervisor of a parts store. Just as your parents are of you now, you don’t have to impress anyone in life but when your parents say “proud of you son” that’s all that matters. May God bless you and your family keep you safe and watch over you in life.
You guys are sort of in the same boat as the HTF crew and Joseph, working on running with the national more experienced guys, while also getting used to your new/updated equipment, and racing on tracks and different lengths that you don't have any notebooks on or much at all (or it was with a different brand/parts). It all comes with seat time, experience and growth. And yes you are correct that you have to start somewhere and you'll never get better if you don't move up at some point, get those setup logs going and figuring things out. We got your back Chase, you keep diggin, keep going after it, and you'll be there in no time. And I think your making a good move with the toter and stacker (if that's what your doing), and think that'll help in the short and long run in all cases.
Haters are gonna hate no matter what you are doing just fine pay no attention to those that criticize you have shown great improvement in your skills yes there are times when things don't go the way you expect all you can do is know in your heart you did the best you can AND THAT IS ALL ANYONE DO
As an Okie we don’t have a huge modified scene either, so I know how it is competing with the midwesterns. Hell Ramirez was 34 when he won his first championship and iirc Hughes was 36 when he won his first keep digging man. You get bad messages because you’re living the dream people wish they could have had.
Sucks you have to deal with the negativity. That’s the internet. Gotta just try your best to ignore it. Use it for fuel. You just keep moving forward and I think you’ll get there. The channel will grow and the wins will start coming.

Chase you are more mature than 90% of the 19 and up kids that are not growing up out there today. Some 25 year olds ( probably the ones with harsh comments toward you) aren't as mature as you. Don't pay attention to these people that criticize you . Unless it is good hard earned constructive criticism, it means nothing anyway. You be you ! Keep up the hard work and you will be fine.
Chase if I would have had your drive at 19yr old anything would have possible my drive didn't start til 30yr and I'm 44 and all work out with that being said. You first time at the masters at cedar lake with how you did with the northern drivers are tough for what i have been told by other drivers i met in hernando Ms. I became a fan and last yr i bought your hoodie from mama bird it is my favorite hoodie, been faithful watcher of your content, and you just keep grinden and god always bless the grinders you all are family to me even my own fam gives crap about did your 2nd fam post tonight.
