Booker’s greatest strength, aside from shooting, is his mentality. Mentality is an extremely hard thing to gauge as a scout but as a freshman booker played better in road games than home games. How a true freshman plays at Louisville, at Florida, at Tennessee among others gives you a decent knowledge of what kind of mentality a kid has.

Looking back at it there was pretty good indication of what devin would become just from the glimpse we got at kentucky, the fact thhat he was the teams best shooter, the fact that he didnt dribble, the fact that he could lock up on D, he didnt really make alot of mistakes when he was on the floor. if he wouldve went anywhere else he wouldve been player of the year easily.

As a Heat fan, I was shocked and then ecstatic when Justise fell to us at 10th. Just... a shame he hasn't panned out offensively to this point in his career (though he did have some flashes, like that portion of the 2020 campaign where Spo had him starting at the point). I kind of disagree with the first point. I vividly remember watching more than a few Kentucky games. Their offense was average at best but seriously upgraded when Booker came in. He was often the best player on the floor, he was definitely the best shooter. Only KAT was as good
