Ya gotta love the British High command, in WW1 we developed a armour piercing dart that could be dropped from small fighter planes and were proved very effective at wiping out German Trenches. However the high command cancelled the mass production because it was deemed "Un-sporting." I can still never forget the high command for their operation at the so called "Bridge Too Far." Watching the classic film starring Sean Connery and co. made me realise just how outdated we were in our battle tactics.

If you mentioned the F-82, the twin version of the Bf-109, the Bf-109Z would have also been worthy of mentioning in my opinion, after all, it was an other interesting, yet short lived attempt at a twin fuselage aircraft by the germans during the war. A good video nevertheless, and on a topic I never would have expected you to cover!

The He 111Z Zwilling (English: twin) was a design that mated two He 111s. The design was originally conceived to tow the Messerschmitt Me 321 glider. Initially, four He 111 H-6s were modified. This resulted in an aircraft with twin fuselages and five engines. They were tested at Rechlin in 1941, and the pilots rated them highly.[63] A batch of ten were produced and five were built from existing H-6s. The machines were joined by a center wing formed by two sections 6.15 m (20 ft) in length. The powerplants were five Junkers Jumo 211F engines producing 1,000 kW (1,340 hp) each. The total fuel capacity was 8,570 L (2,260 US gal). During the Battle of Stalingrad their use was cancelled due to insufficient airfield capacity. Later in 1943, He111Zs helped evacuate German equipment and personnel from the Caucasus region, and during the Allied invasion of Sicily, attempted to deliver reinforcements to the island.[66] During operations, the He 111Z did not have enough power to lift a fully loaded Me 321. Some He 111s were supplemented by rocket pods for extra takeoff thrust, but this was not a fleet-wide action. Two rockets were mounted beneath each fuselage and one underneath each wing. I remember the He-111Z "Zwilling", Me-321 and Me-323 from the game IL-2 Sturmovik: Forgotten Battles (which in 2006 evolved into IL-2 1946).

Somehow this channel manages to make unusual planes very interesting.

I actually like this plane design. Now imagine a Jet-powered version of it (no, not talking about the British/American jet design or Virgin Galactic's variants) but rather a version of this plane modified to be a Jet plane with roughly the same amount of engines. That'd be some impressive horsepower. Could possibly tow the huge glider but at a cost of using more fuel.

I'm pretty sure the C130 uses the Allison T56 turboprop, each engine outputting over 4000 horsepower. not the maximum of all four, that would be in excess of 16,000 horsepower. it's the easily researched things like this you should get right.

the Americans did a similar thing with the Twin Mustang in the Korean War. Would love to see a video on that too.
