Not gonna lie, I actually celebrated Will’s Birthday March 22. I listened to stuff that I feel Will would listen to on his mixtape; and I mean actual 80s material… I really wish all the best for him in S5.

I am so glad you made this video Edit: This just reminded me-- remember when Noah posted pics of himself on social media wearing the kind of harness that would lift an actor up and he was wearing (iirc) his Rink-O-Mania outfit? I recall there was speculation he was just trolling us but after watching this now I want to find that again and check what he was wearing. In any case I 100% agree S5 will probably see a mental/psychic return to Rink-O-Mania. (Or maybe I just hope so cause of how much I love that setting.) 2nd edit: I had to google, it was an Instagram post and in the harness shot he's just wearing a plain white T-shirt and what look like sweatpants, so alas no clues there. I have no idea.

I think the reason that makes birthdaygate seem most intentional is that from Will's perspective Rink-O-Mania was all about Will feeling forgotten and ignored. So obviously having your birthday forgotten would feel really serious especially in a scene describing and detailing hiw ignored Will feels

Just because the Duffer Brothers remember certain stuff from season 2 doesn't mean they've watched it recently. The things we were meant to recognize were pretty significant details that would be easy to remember. I also just can't believe that both Will's mom AND his brother would forget his birthday.

@@chxrlii167 I actually think one of the reasons they had Jonathan use weed was so he'd forget about Will's birthday. And El probably doesn't even know Will's birthday. So it's possible it was all done on purpose, the writers didn't think we'd realize it but when we did they had to lie that they forgot Will's birthday.

I have a theory! What if at 6:33 or around this timestamp el is seen wearing her dress with the milkshake stain and everyone one else is skating around them like they did when el was getting bullied so what if in season 5 they remade that scene but with will instead of el???????

We’ll… at 5:04 one of the Duffers (I never really can differentiate them sry😅) says WE’RE GONNA FIX THIS.. Soo yeah eventually they gonna fix 😁 But not the digital way.. the storytelling way! 😉❤ I LOVE this theory, this was suspicious to me since the phone call leads to HBD song, but one more thing!… Erewhile I found and rewatched the Title Tease of S3 and (as you put the screenshot to the end of this video!) here was a title “The Birthday” and after all I’m like omg omg omg.. 🤓🤯 Later they skipped the whole birthday plot line from S3, but the idea they wanted to bring up it there too just freaks me out in a good way, bye..😂😂😅
