In this video, I talk about how William Afton AKA Purple Guy AKA Springtrap AKA Scraptrap AKA Glitchtrap AKA Burntrap AKA The Man Behind The Slaughter is the most terrifying character in FNAF. Five Nights at Freddy's is a horror game developed by Scott Cawthon. The main series consists of nine survival horror video games taking place in locations somehow connected to a fictional family pizza restaurant franchise named "Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza", after its mascot, the animatronic bear Freddy Fazbear. In most games, the player assumes the role of a night-time employee, who must utilize tools such as security cameras, lights, doors, and vents to defend themselves against hostile animatronic characters that inhabit the locations. The series' lore is gradually revealed through voice recordings, minigames, and easter eggs featured throughout the games.
William Afton is the co-founder of Fazbear Entertainment, as well as the main antagonist of the Five Nights at Freddy's series.

Just my personal theory, maybe Springtrap's jumpscare wasn't as brutal as the other animatronics is because we played as Michael, and he recognised us. Either that or Scott is just being lazy.

It's the second option, as during the making of FNAF 3, which was supposed to be the last canon game (I wish...), Michael didn't even exist as a character. Mike Schmidt was just a guard from FNAF 1.

Have you seen Wendigoon's video on the fnaf timeline? In it he said that William wasn't a killer before pissbaby died and he only started killing and experimenting on kids after promising he'll put him back together. I'd love to hear your thoughts on it!!

Fun fact: spring traps jump scare is just him walking up to you and staring you dead in the eye it scares you so much that you have a heart attack and die that's how willaim killed all the children without spreading blood

Well time to yell about glitchtrap for some reason I really like glitch not just for his design. But the way he acts different than you would expect. He acts playful and silly but somehow serious at the same time. And it's great to see how William might have gotten the kids in the back room! But his design is also really good.

in my opinion, the reason why springtrap jumpscares us like that is due to the springlocks. Maybe he can't jump at us since that would hurt too much.

Also by the way about William being purple if you look up The Symbolism of the color purple, it’s: Arrogant, Hypersensitive, Unstable, Condescending, Immature, emotional, restrictive and mourning. That’s most likely saying Something About why William is purple.

Actually it was the crying child who William scared in fnaf 4 because he was afraid of something happening to him at Freddy fazbears but Michael being the good brother he is dragged him to fazbears and put him in the suit but his tears locked the fredbear suit down cuz they're springlock suits causing the mouth to shut crushing the crying child's head

Him being crushed by Fredbear couldn't have possibly have happened because his tears triggered the springlocks. Thing is, springlock failures only occur during suit mode, which Fredbear was clearly in animatronic mode.

Yeah, I totally agree with you. I always think that Scraptrap escaped the fire but still got burnt to the degree that he fell into a coma when he got out of the building. That also explains why they only used his possessed chip when making the VR game, because we don't see any other soul other than William's (Glitchtrap).
