Game had so much potential to be the best demon slayer game but it just released entirely too early. What is your personal opinion the game? Edit: game being titled as an alpha was an excuse to release the game unfinished. Game was clearly rushed out for money.
Honestly most games releasing newly have the problem of releasing early instead of building good content to actually be something worthwhile kinda like what project mugetsu did
Imo i feel this game as a LOT of potential, unlike Project Slayers, the devs are actually fixing the bugs on the spot and are actually continously working on fixing certain areas of the game such as the spawn rates you mentioned earlier in the video, this makes me feel like they're actually trying to make the game playable and not just leave it there to die.
As someone who actually did the demon storyline, it is bad, you get two moves total throughout the entire thing as well as having two quests that are just level up 5-10 times
Never played the game cause I wanted to wait for your input, but honestly it seems like it’s trying out new things, which I respect. Such as the npcs not attacking all at once, attacking while dialogue, etc. The bugs seem pretty prominent though

I believe it's because they chose random people as testers instead of real testers but the best part was them responding to criticism. They immediately started fixing all the glitches after they were reported. They actually listened to the community and already stated that they have started working on the demon storyline and demon bdas. They are also constantly fixing all the glitches and bugs which I personally have only dealt with the low demon spawn rate which wasn't a big problem for me. The best thing was the fact that nothing was known and that one had to explore the game for themselves. There were no guides. The trello was shit. I had to find out everything on my own. Talking to npcs around. I actually am one of the first people to find out a bunch of stuff in the game. It was fun playing as a demon slayer and exploring the game even though there were bugs I didn't meet any game breaking ones except the sample quest which I do admit took me around 2 hours to finish. Clearing caves with friends and speedblitzing enemies was fun and the only problem I have now is the rarity of the 0.1 percent clans. I have used 20 of my alt accounts and used the 100 spins on each but still got none of the 0.1 percent. I have seen every single common rare and legendary clans. But not a single mythic and I know they have the same color as common. I was paying close attention the entire time. I also tried to get a good demon account. Tried it out with 5 accounts. Only one of them got mijikai and I wanted an ozomashi because of how broken they are.
I absolutely LOVE the devs of wisteria 2, They respond to the community, listen, are active, fix bugs commonly, give updates frequently, give codes frequently.. So much that they do for the community. the only thing i didnt really like about wisteria 2 when it dropped was.. why was this in development for 2 years? where'd all that time go?.. Yeah the game's cool but.. theres a severe lack of content for 2 years of development, even just 1 year.
Ngl when i started playing and told my friend i choose to be a demon he immideately said, "why'd you do that? bruh demons are weak af", but the moment i told him my character had a weird aura around it he said "nvm u good" ☠
I bet 100 shillings this game would be amazing in the next 3-4 months. The devs are surprisingly active and reasonable and i think it would keep its player base. I have already beat the game and there is nothing left to do.
@@icakisa8890 Tbvh, idk why they releasing 2 Demon Slayer games in 1 year, much less the span of 5 months. It would most likely be very good since they devs have most likely learnt from Wisteria 2 mistakes
@@cmm9365 look this is what wisteria 3 owner said about wisteria 1 2 and etc : Wisteria 1 was owned by kidso52. Wisteria 2 is some of the old developers who worked with him who asked him for permission to use the brand. Wisteria 3 is the temporary branding of wisteria 1's revamp. Wisteria 3 will be an entirely new game in every single aspect. Kidso52 has only been involved in this wisteria making the new recent moon breathing but is otherwise uninvolved. I have no connection or affiliation with wisteria 2 in any way.
From what I have seen this game is actually being developed by some of the devs that worked on wisteria 1 but not the main dev who was kidso, which is probably why it released so flawed
Yeah i agree, haven't seen the video yet though. Developers for anime games should just stop making games and releasing them whenever the new anime season comes out, even if the game is half-baked. They clearly just do it for the anime hype, and it's sad. would be cool if the devs actually put more effort in the game and didn't care about riding the new anime season hype
Some stuff you would need to know if you ever wanted to continue Theres honestly only 1 quest forceing you to go to the cave All the demons for the samples quests can be found spawning on the map, idk but for me i did the whole questline in 30 minutes just cuz i didnt go for caves Slayers do have quests, one of them are crow quests wich you access by creating a squad and waiting for up to a minute max for a crow to give you one After final selection if you talk to your trainer he will give you more quest so you can unlock your nichirin You can rank up to Mizunoe by contributions and waiting for a quest to rank up Theres (not at least yet) constant breathing, you still need to breathe manually but the time its full incresses so it seems like it almost The level cap is 35 (Im lvl 35) If anyone have any questions or you Techy im glad to anwser them if i know the anwser, have a good night all :D
Unfortunately a lot of this isn’t explained in the game which breaks the flow of the story and leaves many confused but thanks for trying to help people 🤝
@@Oneofdem513 i hate the "isnt a hand holding game" statement to justify a game not telling you basic stuff. Its not intuitive its just bad game design. Every game should at minimum tell you the controls and how important systems work. The tutorial in Wisteria2 tell you the controls (which is more then most ill give em that) but it doesnt tell you how any of the systems work.
Honestly. The graphics of the breathings are really good and the running is really cool. But why would you play this when you can play demonfall? It's just not worth spending the time and the fatigue. Oh yeah, the AI is horrible. Also, persona 4 dancing op is really good. Keep up the good content man!
personally, i believe wisteria 2 coming out on the desired date is a good idea. The devs released the game only though its alpha testing. This way we will be able to watch the game grow and become a polished game, unlike having to wait 6 more months for a full polished release. My main concern is that the devs had their expectations set WAY to high and decide to quit development on the game and do what uzukee did to YBA except they don't come back on a redemption arc.
I quite enjoyed the first few missions of the game, but when Mizumi village questline hit, it hit HARD. I spent at least 2 hours searching for the right demons. After I became a demon slayer and most of the content was already finished, I decided to make a few more saves, one more slayer, and a demon save. I got to around level 25 on each. When I joined up the next day, with a tiny bit of hope for some fun, I realized that my both of my new saves had completely deleted. That's when I decided to quit.
You know what pains me, you can't delete your save file Asked one of the higher ups on the discord We only have 1 save file, so you're screwed if you mess up I was so pressed when I got uzui and it showed common color
Wisteria 2 is a pretty solid game, the bugs just make it u nplayable. The side quest add extra story, but like you said.. the pvp is terrible. And the demon grind is unfair. But the game still has potential if they fix the bugs and make the combat and story progression more balanced and fair.
the only poison ive seen so far is the undead warden in the final selection exam, and yeah most enemys just bug out for no reason, they just decide to become a pacifist and let you kill them
Me too it needed keyboard control keys in the tutorial too I couldn’t do it so I skipped and im so confused I can’t do half the stuff and my attack button is not working no matter what I do and when it does it works like 5 seconds and goes away
There's nothing wrong with bandit beater aspects as long as it's not just do one quest until your the next level cap. I agree though it was released wayyyy to early.

The demon Meat quest (mizumi) can be conpleted in The normal map, because u can find those demons in The map most speed than fiding and entering The caves (srr my english is bad)
I put some time into it but then it started to crash all the time and I was unable to play for longer than 5 minutes before it crashed and it wasn’t my connection because all other games work - I’m on mobile btw
training in wisteria 2 is even worse than wisteria 1 in wisteria 1, atleast when u rank up u can train a lot and get rly strong here, not only do u have to farm quests for exp, it costs money to train, and u need to train multiple times for the stat to go up ONCE, and the ways to train are just as boring as the old one
One bug i found was that if you had the upgraded version of thunderclap and flash, you could just go through the muzan barrier without killing any demons
Bro I got the thunder breathing and it's pain. You need to go up a mountain everytime you want to upgrade your skilltree, and the moves sometimes take 15 seconds to come out and sometimes they don't work for me
Well I am glad the game came out early but something for those clan like kamado and Tsugikuni still got their story still going cause like when I killed kofu it does not give me any other quest it put a rank lock / story lock on me so I can't even like rank up within the slayer corps or in game but over all the game is good but not the bugs😅 and the fact that it has no blood demon art but it is good over all and I would come back and play it time to time and it brings some change to the demon slayer community. 😅😅😅🙃
If they fix the tons of bugs, combat, add more to the story, get the coding for the demons better, and just make the quests shorter and less tedious, it has great potential. I wont meat ride but it can be a good game if they TELL YOU WHAT TO DO. I spent so much time trying to figure out what to do and how to rank up after getting a proper nichirin sword, but i figure'd it out eventually. point is it had potential if they had not released early, maybe a month or two of fixing bugs and combat would have made the game a lot better. I personally like it just not much to do in the game right now.
The game started bugging out when I started doing the crow quests. Now my crow won't give me new quests. I fought Kofu like twice which both times took me like 10 minutes even after leveling my stats. This is late but, I don't know how this game is gonna turn out in the end.
The questline to get your nichirin sucks, it's extremely tedious, you need to talk to like 7 different npcs then get 30 nichirin fragments by killing demons with about a 30% drop chance then you need to get 5 packages with 2 waves of demons to fend off for each, finally you need to escort the swordsmith for roughly 15 minutes all while demons attack you.
The sprint button is completely broken for me and no matter how many times I rejoin, its still broken, making progression 10x slower (Especially for training stats). This is the second Demon Slayer game that has broken buttons (The other being Midnight Sun with heavy slash not working)
The bugs and lag issue makes the game SOOO unplayable. There are no anticheat too 💀 every server I'm in I usually see like 3 - 5 exploiters flying around but its not really a big problem. I like pissing them exploiters off and even if they killed me I don't lose nothing. What I hate is 70% of game population has mythical clan. I spent robux to get the clan while these exploiter used inf spins script.
This game is a pain with a crazy spin system I use 200 alt just for a 0.1% that I didn’t even get and then mid through it you get “soft lock” so you can’t even lvl up 🤦🏾♂️
Honestly ive just started doing my own rp because im stuck on the slay the entity quest and it wont let me level up past level 10 as much as i like this game its way to hard and very glitchy
personally i think the game can still be saved if the effort they are saying they're putting out to fix bugs and make the game better in general but ig we just need to wait to see if it's true
The whole thing about the rusty katana still gets me... like why tf i'm using a rusty katana to solo the final selection lol. You only get the nichirin katana in the last mission of the storyline quest and the dmg doenst seen to change much.
in my own experience, the best clan to get in wisteria 2 is himejima because of pseudo see through world it gives you auto dodge which is very useful for fighting but overall the game is good the devs just needs to fix the bugs and glitches and fix all the other parts of the game like making the clan have better buffs and etc.
The sample quest wasn't tedious at all for me probably because I was getting chased by two random demon slayer players trying to kill me the whole time cause i hit one of them once
What else was bad about it is you can’t delete your character slot so you’re stuck with the character you have or just pay 200 robux to make another slot just why would they do not include the option to delete the character it defeats the purpose of wanting to restart your progress!?😩
Yea. Parrying these days feels like something devs just sometimes throw in. It feels like it cheapens combat a lot. First game did fine without parrying. I don't see how this one would be any better.
Came to see how this game was doing, had like 50 players, it's crazy how much this game flopped. To think the devs of this game left the OG wisteria to make their own game, just for it to do absolutely terrible is sad. Still regret wasting my time going demon. OG wisteria went crazy during quarantine. I think they really should have done an open test THEN closed it, the game is literally still open
The clans are crazy, expensive spins, many buyable things, the game is half cash grab. plus the "him" boar took so long to show me the button to spawn it. The enemies/demons rarely spawns after u kill them. In my opinion they make these "level up to 5 and we'll continue" bla bla is to get people to play longer and that makes them money. The creators technically know the game isnt ready but released it for the cash.

Brah i am not a pc player.I am a mobile player and i can't even do the selection.Whenever i give any move the game glitches and i have to tap a single move lika a 1000 times to do it but the game is soo laggy......not expected at alllllllll....
There is more progression to the game u can rank up get nirichin blade and I think the storyline continues at some point just go back to ur trainer after final selection.
I agree with everything you said but I feel like it shouldn’t be compared to project slayer but more as old wisteria but I also feel like when it came to muzan I don’t like how they changed his name and everything and gave different characters from the actual anime
i kinda disagree with some points it’s unfair you’re upset about bandit beating in a fighting game, and the demon quest was pretty easy the demons u need spawned randomly near the butterfly estate so no need for caves. besides the bugs the games very decent. does need tweak tho
Game was decent at the beginning but slowly dropped in quality watch the video. Also you hardly even fight in the game I bring up bandit beating only a few times because the game is not a bandit beater
Every new anime game is just mid bro and what makes me more mad is RU-vidrs just butter the game up too, it doesn't even need to be anime, idk which RU-vidr called voxlblade an anime game lol. i seriously prefer old wisteria, it was realy more funny, a lot bugged yes but they could just fix this and keep updating with new vfx, etc. I fell they kinda kill the game essence some way
Some of your points I can disagree with, most of them being right though, this games combat is pretty bad and the hitboxes are non-existent, but the storyline does make sense and it was fairly easy if u just ran around killing demons here and there, I finished the storyline in an hour, and final selection is pretty easy, one thing this game could really use are most quest around the map, best feature in the game gotta be the sprint
Yet another example of lack of communication completely squandering a games potential. The developers obviously wanted to break the mold of not releasing on an assigned release date, but did so at the cost of having their game rushed. If you know your game will not be ready for release, literally just say so to your community and delay it. It's that easy. Yes, people will complain, but the backlash will NEVER be nearly as bad as what you will get if your game releases in a state as bad as this.
The absolute worst part was the nichirin quest. 2 hours with like 30 different parts and its absolute AGONY, AND THE SWORD DOESNT EVEN PROVIDE A REAL BENEFIT.
