Im struggling i prayed for a new job the current boss is like psycho payment is low went to interview many times but things doesnt work out youre right in your comment very easy for those with job/wealth to say all these

People take over a business, boss has no clue until the company is getting sued. Most places already have a group that only allows who they want to work there. Haven't you seen the favoritism held up in most work places. I've been in and out of jobs and have been set up to either quit forcefully or wrongfully terminated where the harassers end up staying. I've seen hatred and racist acts. And still these businesses keep those people there because probably the boss is unintentionally held blackmailed. There's no way of telling but you see it slowly as you work there day in and out. And they play the game to where they can't be at fault with gestures and certain tones of voice. It's not up to God to banish those people, God can't do anything because God vouches for those people's prayers as well. Basically you have to earn your money and make your own business or become like them creating a group that protects your group.

Amen , we are taught to just put up with things god doesn’t call us to endure he has I place where we can work with his perfect peace

I’ve heard People say “Belive and you shall recive” or something like that But i’m not gonna say that because i can’t know that all i can say is God loves you He wants to help so why dosen’t he. well take the story of job he trusted him so much he allowed it I can prey for you if you want it

Chris, Jesus is no respecter of persons. He doesn’t love pastors more than us since (assuming the pastors are Christians), what God will do for me He will do for you and vice versa. I come against the lying voices in our lives that say things like that to our hearts😊 1 Corinthians 1:9 AMPC God is faithful (reliable, trustworthy, and therefore ever true to His promise, and He can be depended on); by Him you were called into companionship and participation with His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.

A. Diaz keep the faith. I just landed something although not sure I really want it. It’s better pay but some travel involved. I’m going to take it but continue looking for better pay, environment, pension, job security & benefits . While taking this job I will have a bit of time to upgrade my skills with computers. I’ve never really had to use computers in the past .

A. Diaz This guy is actually correcting what he saying. I’m 50 years old I’ve learned a lot. When I look at things in my life I completely understand how gods used me. Keep in mind nothing on this earth is fair but we must endure suffering to some extent in order to build character. I’m just starting now to thank god for my suffering........ because I realized that in my pain I’m becoming the person god desires me too be.

I’ve been where you’re at and I’d suggest fasting is your not already doing so. 1 Corinthians 1:9 AMPC God is faithful (reliable, trustworthy, and therefore ever true to His promise, and He can be depended on); by Him you were called into companionship and participation with His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.

I'm currently looking too, & very little has come up so far. On top of that my landlord is selling the house so I have to move. Due to circumstances I'm moving someplace I would rather not go, but it's the only option at the moment. But we are not promised there will not be hard times. Palsm- "23:4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. David ran for years from Saul, Joseph - sold, enslaved, falsely accused, in prison. Job - lost everything except a hurting bitter wife & friends that accused him of a hidden sin. Paul was ship wrecked, stoned & more Through it all HE brought them through. HE is a great provider but HE is not at our beck & call like some churches preach. Things will happen when He says it will. Our job is to rely upon HIM. Don't let temporary circumstances determine your faith in The ONE who speaks and it happens. No..abuse, and humiliation ...vs serving with some degree of humility and a knowing you are not in charge and do in fact answer to someone are different. No one is expected to be abused. If your boss is a jerk, then he is a jerk but you still work for him. If your boss is cursing at you, throwing things at you, sexually harassing you, not paying you etc....that is abuse. I went through nearly 6 years of terrible abuse at a dangerous job, I worked hard in spite of it, and got abused even worse. It was a family member, who was narcissistic and jealous, I took it and worked hard, telling myself that God sees. Lied to, put down, humiliated in front of co workers, chased down every day, micromanaged, screamed at, rules of work changed at his choosing, and me being screamed at for not knowing. Example..." stand there and wait until I tell you what to do!!! so I did, then came "WHY ARE YOU JUST STANDING THERE?!?!!!" With rage and a look that could kill in his eyes. I could only escape him when I worked with others, and even then he would pry. He was my boss and family. He would deceive the higher ups, and stay home pretending he was working, cutting trees or some odd job, and I knew, I had to do it with him at times as well. One time he did that, and came in the next day and accused me in front of everyone of not doing my job right, when I worked at least 3 hours over my time. It was hell, and It makes me extra sensitive to anxiety at work, and feeling trapped and tortured to make a living. I am looking for work right now and cant find a job, I also developed an alcohol problem, ptsd, severe depression, and memory loss. I am getting better with the alcohol, losing my desire for it. I need to survive I am hoping for God to help, I do not want to be homeless.

Contrary to what so many modern teachers teach now days (don't let people walk on you, stand up for yourself, you deserve to be treated right, your as good as anybody else, etc...) Philippians 2:3 Tells us to consider others BETTER than ourselves, not less than or even equal to. Mat 5:39 Jesus Tells us that if someone slaps our face to offer them the other side to slap as well.. Mat 5:40 Jesus says that if someone asks for our coat to give it to them and offer our shirt too.. Mat 5:41 Jesus says that if someone FORCES us to walk a mile with them, offer to walk 2 with them.. Mat 5:44 Jesus tells us to LOVE our enemies, not fight against them. And the list goes on and on. Luke 6 asks the question "what good does it do to love only those that love us or treats us fair, anyone can do that." In Matt 20 Jesus talks about how it is fair when one person is paid the same pay for working an hour or so as the one who worked all day long because the one that worked all day long got the pay he agreed too... The problem today is that we have itching ears for teaching that tells us we should be treated fair, that we deserve and should insist on being respected, etc... This is false doctrine. We personally should treat others that way but never demand to be treated that way. Jesus NEVER EVER demanded to be treated fair... He NEVER demanded respect from sinners...

Failed at that and no matter how hard I over commit myself to a job. Work over time, reflect obedience and respect, contracts end. I get released…

I agree with you. But that doesn't really answer the question about other verses in the bible like if you ask anything in my name it will be given you. And i came that you might have abundant life. I think we should just start being honest with ourselves in that we haven't been taught correct doctrine and that we have interpreted the bible wrongly. God really doesn't answer pray or intervene on our behalf. But He acts only as He sees fit and we must accept His providence with grace.

@@t-bonewtf you are being absurd. It's not laziness. It's actually struggling to land a job. For some reason. Been applying. And even called after to check up. Even entry level jobs are hard to get for some reason.

@@misterbobby8913 You're not looking enough. If I wanted employment desperately I could stand on a street corner with a sign asking for work. There's always employment for any one that is sincere in locating it. People that say "God" is preventing them from working are liars and slackers.

I've applied to almost 100 places and I've even called shops and businesses to ask about potential interview times, I've gotten "oh sorry we're not looking for anyone now" even though they had a job posting. And I went in person to a national hiring day and all I got was "we don't have any positions to fill" even though they did have a job posting online " I called another place and they kept me on hold for a long time and then told me to call back an hour later. And when I called again, still nothing actually came of it. So you don't know what you're talking about.
