Why won't I sell this Kansas Drive In Speaker? Stay to the end to find out why!

This drive-in speaker was an eBay find that originally operated at the Westport Drive-In in Wichita, Kansas. All it needed was a new paint job and some replacement spade connectors. But I decided not to sell the speaker after I fixed it up ... I instead decided on another option, one that's entirely more satisfying in the long run.
My other drive-in speakers and other restoration projects can be found here:

Michigan drive-ins came with a heater for winter.

@@mrdovie47 I think that's incredibly fascinating. I imagine that a lot of drive-ins in the northern part of the United States needed some sort of heater for trying to operate during the winter. It would be really fun to work on one of those heaters and see if I could actually get it to work again. That will take a little effort on my part, as I'm still trying to perfect getting these driving speakers to look fantastic, but it's a goal that I may take on in the future. Thanks for the inspiration!
