I just spent two hours checking the power, reinstalling the seat. Trouble shooting everything… came across your channel and it was simply holding the power for 3 seconds. You sir are a god amongst men!!! Thank you so much! I was just about done and ready to call an electrician. Thank you!!!!!!
I am grateful I watched your video before I spent all that time. THANK YOU FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART (no pun intended). I would like to order from your store and headed there now if I can find it.
YOU ARE A LIFESAVER. My $3500 toilet stopped working after one year when I was using the oscillating feature. I was so depressed and after a week was getting ready to phone TOTO. I watched your video and followed your directions. Problem fixed. Dan, I wish I could give you a big HUG. Thanks so much.😀😀
Everyone else loves and thanks you as do I. It took me a day and a half to face the issue but when I did, I immediately found your video which instantly solved the problem and I have a different version of the remote. Why did I wait so long when I knew I would find the answer here?
Thank you, thank you...I was really upset when nothing worked...but I figured it was something I did while programming the remote. I looked everywhere on the Toto site and found nothing. You just made my day!
Thank you for this video! Turning it on/off the same way was key. My husband is so impressed that I was able to get our washlet working. Of course I told him all credit was due to you. You rock!!
God bless you Sir! I just wasted 3 hours of my life and taking about 3 years off stressing and almost in tears for my toilet. Unplugged and required a thousands times. Cursing my sweet plumber. Just to find out it was turned off and I had to hold the power button on the remote for 3 seconds. Thank you a million times!!!!
Even though it's been a while since this video was uploaded.... YOU MY FRIEND ARE A GODSENT!!!! Thank you a million times over. I wish there was a quick guide for the remote that others who don't know the remote won't push all the buttons. Like legit tape it beside the remote so these curious family and friends don't get trigger happy. 😂
That was a lifesaver. Housecleaner must have accidentally turned bidet off. This video kept me from tearing the thing apart or making an expensive service call
the power button on the back side of the remote will not turn the power off. The spray wiggle button does turn it off after 10 seconds but that is the only way I can seem to turn this darn thing off.
Thank you. Just had partial power outage where some juice was going through lines but not enough to run fridge for example. In retrospect, I should have unplugged washlet since I was home. The fish tank filter, for example was making noises bc of the partial power and I unplugged that. When power came on later, I noticed 500e washlet wouldn't turn on. Tried unplugging and didn't work. Watched this video and found out about the "hard reset" which I didn't know about. That seems to have fixed the issue.
I'm glad to hear it helped! Spread the word about Many Bidets! If you or anyone you know is interested in a bidet, we're happy to hook you up for a great price!
My Toto Neorest 600 990cgr remote is no longer controlling the toilet, yet the remote’s lights all seem to be working. The batteries are new. The toilet unit’s lights indicate all is working on the toilet. Advice? Do I buy a new remote?
The remote just doesn't respond. I wind up hitting a few different buttons and nothing...then I either, by what seems like I hit a special combination this bidet will come alive. Nothing consistent though. What is the trick?
Normally when we see issues with multiple button presses needed before the remote responds, it's due to the signal not making it to the seat. This can be due to a small room, dark wall colors, or wireless interference among other things. Did the unit ever work properly? If yes, what's changed in the bathroom layout since the problem started happening? If no, do any of the items on the list below sound like they could be playing a role with your installation?
Really appreciate this info, but what do I do if I have a 700H? Have already replugged and made sure breaker is reset. Still nothing happens when I press power button.
With the 700H, there's a power button on the unit itself. If you're having issues finding the button, take a look at page 12 of the manual here: www.manybidets.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/10/TOTO-Neorest-700H-Owners-Manual-D08756_MS992CUMFG_OM.pdf
Have you tried unplugging the seat and letting it sit for an hour and then plugging it back in? Does the seat show any signs of life what so ever? Have you reached out to TOTO support?
I am having a problem with my Neorest 700H where all/most controls (on both remote and side buttons) intermittently fail to operate. Full functionality is only restored (albeit temporarily) if I unplug /re-plug from the mains. Batteries fresh/good, power good, sight line to sensor is OK. Any suggestions?
You might need to do a hard reset. Reach out at Support@manybidets.com and I can provide those steps. Outside of that reaching out to TOTO directly might be your best option.
That's a very valid point! It's one of the reasons we made this video. People have no way of knowing BOTH ways the unit can be powered down without a ton of digging. A little power button on the front or top of the remote would have been a decent idea :-)
There could be a number of reasons why it is not heating up. We usually start with suggesting you cycle through the heat settings fully and see it that turns it on. Reach out to us if you have any questions.
I want to know when I use the seat, I took seat the seat sensor on and when press the wash mode button, the side key pad light gone off,but using dryer the keypad working properly, what is the cause
Hey Dan. My Toto Neorest AH has been behaving oddly. The controller will chime on the user selection function and will flush but sometimes it will not initiate the wash function, though sometimes it will. When it doesn't work, if I unplug and replug the neorest it will work correctly. Any ideas why this might be?
Did the unit ever work correctly? Is this a new install? Did anything change about the bathroom? Does the bathroom have dark walls? Sorry for all the questions, but knowing the answers to these questions can help us figure out what next steps need to be!
@@ManyBidets Been installed for over a year. Nothing changed in the bathroom. Light colored walls. Wondering now if maybe it is the seat detection switch? It happens with the bathroom lights on and off (I saw one video about interference from a light ballast). Thanks for your reply!
@@NativeTroutAngler The switch on that unit is weight activated, and to date, I've never seen it go bad... How long are you leaving it unplugged for when you unplug and replug? Try for an hour or so to let all capacitors discharge and reset. If the issue still happening after this, email us with your order number, or if you don't have it, just email us, and we'll look up your order with us. Once we have that info, we can file a warranty claim with TOTO on your behalf and get this taken care of.
@@ManyBidets you are the best but I think I figured it out. If the bathroom fan is on, it will open/flush/dry but not wash. Fan off and everything seems ok. Is that possible?
@@NativeTroutAngler I've never heard of that happening before... However, if the fan is on the same circuit (is it?) maybe it's drawing enough power that the water heater can't operate, and as such, the wash doesn't run? That's my best guess, but again, I've never seen this before.
Thanks for asking Mike! I believe we chatted with you on the phone yesterday. Since our toubleshooting steps did not resolve the issue, you would want to reach out to TOTO directly for that. They can be reached at: custservice@toto.com or you can call them at: 888-295-8134 between the hours of 9am-5pm PST Monday through Friday. If you decide to replace the unit, reach back out to us for great pricing!!
