I remember how they checked everyone for scoliosis in grade school for some reason but they never found it even when people like myself had it lol.
@DrakeOola
@DrakeOola 11 месяцев назад
They were probably just checking for severe cases. You can have pretty significant curves in your spine without it ever affecting your daily life but too much curve can start compressing your organs and putting additional strain on your heart from forcing it to beat harder to pump blood... A slight curve isn't much of an issue at the end of the day but a lot of people still try to fix it for cosmetic reasons and you'll likely even appear taller if you straighten your spine out.

Soooo useful!! One thing surprising post-mastectomy (20 yrs ago) is how my body settled into a very weird curve to accommodate for the lost weight ( i mostly don't wear prosthesis at home ). This should be a whole field of study and it's never addressed. ~loving your vids, keep it up!

No joke for a month or two my left shoulder has been feeling higher than my right and I thought my trap was tight or something I’m glad I saw this

Takes a lot longer than a single month or two for any noticeable change, don't just develop scoliosis overnight but rather from lifelong bad posture...

I have had exactly the same condition (because of bad posture for a LONG time) The same procedure has improved it drastically. In my case, it took almost 6 months to see the first signs of improvement and I am still doing it. I have costum made my bed for it.

Awesome, thanks it explains so much ! I have a couple of quesions. First picture from woman's back shows right shoulder higher but you say right shoulder is lower usually. So just to confirm : If right shoulder is higher than the left, should I to the glute exercice on the left glute ? What about the thorax stretch ?

Connor would you happen to know anything about costochondritis? It has sidelined me for almost a year and I can’t get rid of it. Any tips to mobilize the ribs?

I could have swore my right side was the problem. I also keep feeling my brain Is backwards and emotionally I can't see why. Ig lifting makes it go down? Anyway I tried my right process on the left and I got some relief and space. ❤
@awakenedsoul

Learn to left side bend more by engaging those side abs...then get that right pelvis to go down and in to activate those right butt cheeks...keep head slightly to the right to keep right shoulder more balanced...also...with head more right...observe your left perephi and analyze the information...size of objects ect...you will be surprised to see your brain sees them as larger then they should be lol

You cannot fix neurological firing inefficiencies through isolation exercises. The muscular system works like a symphony and must be conducted as such.
@yeetsin560

Point being? This exercise will do absolutely close to nothing.
@ricardoopitz1551
@ricardoopitz1551 11 месяцев назад
Agreed. Posture itself isn’t something that’s supposed to be straightened out, also not something that needs to be fixed if you don’t have any related symptoms
@H3c171

But you can.

Depends on the neurological inefficiency. A muscle tear will cause neurological adaptation that isolation exercises will benefit.

actually you are wrong. less than 10% of the population have scoliosis. asymmetry is not scholiasts. scoliosis is asymmetry that is more than 10%. so please do not spread inaccurate scoliosis info cause you diminish the suffering of people with scoliosis.
