I agree with u we do have a delayed sleep phase. I used melatonin on occasion i heard its not good for long term use and not good for eye sight. So i only use it when i have really stuffed up my bedtime routine. Aka 4am/7am. For long term i use Magneisum. Chamomile can help. I defo agree having sunlight as u wake up is good for us, to stay in routine. Also, using dimmed lights evening through the night.

It’s a vicious cycle for me where I justify staying up later, especially on work nights, to finish tasks I procrastinated on during the day because I was tired. I suppose I just need to bite the bullet prioritize sleep over these things that technically can be put off until the next day.

It’s a hard process but just telling yourself mentally that once it hits 7pm work time over and it’s relax time! But try melatonin out aswell man I seen amazing benefits personally

I also do this aswell tbh im no saint! but what i have to come to learn is that if i push myself too hard and stay up late nights 4-5 hour of sleep it all catches up to me. Its just understanding like you said health comes first before work.

I have so many things that may be adhd but have no idea and my parents dont believe in adhd because I do decent in school, however I can’t figure it out because in class I often catch myself completely blurring out whats going on in my environment even when I try to focu and I often procrastinate and much more it feels like I can’t control my mind when I actually want to I also choose to go to bed at 1:00am on school days because I want to spend time on my phone even if I dont want to.

This can be so challenging! My best advice speak to them and try to show them videos like this if they still don't believe you. There is no harm going to school and speaking with a counsellor/teacher about it. Don't give up trying to get that diagnosis as it can really help. Goodluck :)

I'm wondering how old are due to hormones. Also, maybe you could talk to a counselor or your doctor for support.
