Just found your channel and subscribed. Howdy from Arizona. Hunted Merriams 5 days last week and going back next week. You've inspired me. Thanks for the advice going on 309 acres of private tomorrow and have never been in the woods. It’s hard to scout there because it is full of lots of small hills and ridges like most of Minnesota I’m hunting with a shotgun. Let me know if anyone has tips to look at on the map or what to do , thanks

Don’t sweat it stuff happens if the didn’t see you there’s a good chance they’ll stay in that area. I missed one last year at 10yds. He heard me take the safety off and gave me a stare. My eyes were about 2 inches above the rail of my gun and I didn’t think about the difference of where I was aiming compared to where you would normally be aimed if you were level with the rail. Shot almost a foot and a half above him but he still hasn’t left the area but he did chose another route thru the valley

I just did 6 days in Kentucky, had a blast. I heard over 30 toms and had a couple opportunities to take the shot but couldn't get it on Video. Finally after 7.2 miles Wednesday around 4 pm opportunity was perfect and shot a nice old Tom. I really enjoy your hunts. Keep them coming.

today is opening day here in PA. I am a total noob. Our numbers are way down here in PA according to the game warden. He told me which area to search. I scouted the areas with crow calls and owl calls never heard a bird. we only have 30 days- so I guess we shall see. love watching your hunts, it gets me pumped!
