Thanks for your honesty. Know your rock lights really can’t get wet or dirty or they could fail is very important to know before you purchase. Also, knowing how easy it is to bend or break the connectors is great to know and that special care needs to be take when mounting the lights themselves or they could be damaged. one more use for rock lights . If you haul your rig on a trailer and loading or unloading in the dark , turn the rock lights on and you can see your tie downs ! really handy
Mounting locations that cause the tires to cast a giant shadow entirely defeat the purpose of “rock” lights. Call them “suspension” lights, or “hey everybody, look at all the cool aftermarket gear that’s installed on my jeep” lights instead.
