My name is Joy Smith, and I am The fight Within Her. Thank you so much! I have been having to put a towel in front of it every night. Was going to try to use black electric tape and cover it up but that would probably prevent the remote from working.

Most likely the black tape would have interfered with the remote. I used a towel as well, but that also seemed to interfere with the remote. Just glad you no longer have to deal with that, and you are very welcome!

I'm not sure why they even have that light on there in the first place. I think at the very least, it should be highly noted when the tv is set up and optional.

You are a true blessing that light was a pain. I have a son who is bedridden and we turned our dining room to a hospital room for him we we hang out and pretty much sleep in the living room and the TV light makes it hard to sleep and by me watching this you help me fix it. Thank you.

I was using tape to block the light on bottom of TV. When I pushed the button, I already had it turned off, but it flashes all the time all on its own

It's the network connected to your tv. Even after it's shut down, the network is still connected and can take up to 5 minutes before that light stops flashing!

Unfortunately it is a different issue, but it may be a code problem. I don't have the LED strip lights to test it for you.

That is because it sounds like you are using a LED color remote changer on your television, which is interfering with the night light on the television itself. They made be running on the same frequency or code. I have not had this problem, until very recently, so I may do a video on that if I can find a solution to it in the near future.

Damn, can't do this with Roku Express!!! I'm stuck with my Roku remote constantly switching the LED lighting colors! It's sooo annoying! 😭😭😭

Unfortunately, that seems to be a same code/frequency issue Your LED lights remote conflicts with Roku remote it sounds like. I haven't done much research on this issue because it hasn't happened until very recently with this household, but I may try to find the answers in the near future, so check back!

On the remote or television? If you are running LED color lights, they are most likely interfering with your television's power light. I may try to do a video on it if I can find a solution, so you might check back?

After you turn off the standby led hit the star key 4 times to disable the guide reader and the light will no longer be there. The only time the light will come on is when you press a key function on your remote!!!! Thank you come again!!!!

As you may already know it's most likely a power supply problem, so you may need to move your TV to a different wall outlet or change your power supply cord. You can try this first, however: Unplug your TV completely from from the wall outlet. Next, press and hold the Power button on your TVfor at least 15 seconds. Plug your TV back in and turn it on. If that doesn't resolve the issue, it's most likely in your power supply cord.
