Big thanks to you two and your channel, inspiring my wife and I to go to Punta Allen and Valladolid on our first trip to Mexico. Can't wait for the fun side of the wall!
Oh that's awesome!! Safe travels to paradise!! ❤️ We are actually in Mexico right now. We spent some time in Oaxaca and now we are in Guadalajara. This is an amazing country 🇲🇽 Enjoy your time in the fun side of the wall :)
We were there a month before you in February 2022. We knew nothing about it - just saw it on a map when we were in Tulum and decided to check it out and had no idea how bad the road would be! Rented a car and drove the whole way. What a perfect capture of our experience as well. We are going back to the Yucatan in July and we are going to try and spend three nights there. Thanks for bringing us back!
That's awesome guys! We did the same thing, that's how we ended up there. And wow! It really was our kind of place! Do try to go back, disconnect and relax. It's the perfect place for that! Enjoy :)
How safe is the drive to Punta Allen from Tulum? We would be coming with a 1 year old. Just wanting to make sure the area is free of crime. It seems so, right?
Are you serious!? That's AWESOME! Punta Allen was incredible and we can't wait to be back! We also wrote a blog post with a lot of useful info to help you plan your trip. If you have any questions, feel free to ask. We are always happy to help! :) Have fun in paradise! www.waysoftheworldblog.com/punta-allen/
Hi!! Thanks so much! So happy to hear you enjoyed the video. We miss Punta Allen. It was the perfect place to disconnect :) Thanks for watching and hope you have a great week ahead!!
We just got back from that area and absolutely loved our experience on Punta Allen. You've captured it nicely! We arrived via boat, that road looks crazy!
Punta Allen sounds like Ayen, double L.... like pollo. It's actually quite developed now. I remember when there was power only if there was a generator and the internet hadn't reached that far yet. No restaurants, only the kitchens at the fishing camps and two stores where beer could be purchased, maybe. Back then the beach side of Tulum was undeveloped for the most part except for some palapa huts and had no electricity unless the property had a windmill... good times.
Hi Katie :) We shared the details right at the beginning of the video. I think from second 00:35 to 00:55 - we left from Cancun. Both the taxi and lancha were arranged in advance by our hotel, which made it all relatively smooth. Also, you may benefit from reading this blog post: www.waysoftheworldblog.com/punta-allen/ (we shared even more details there). Hope you find it useful :) Safe travels to paradise!! 🙂
Hi guys, I just discovered your channel and I am absolutely amazed. I do have a question for you guys. I am planning a trip to Mexico and I do want to go to this place: which dates did you guys visit Punta Allen?
@@waysoftheworld_I’ve been going to riviera maya so many times and its so sad but in the last years it has become a big problem. We are going in Playa in March and we rent a car so we can move around trying to find beaches without the sargassum. One nice it is also xpuah beach. Ithanks again for your video.
