the Hada Labo Shirojyun premium lotion moist is my go to tranexamic acid product. it's so hydrating like all the hydrating toners from Hada Labo, and it's easy to fit into a packed skincare routine. i use it twice daily and still it's such an affordable product in my routine.
Absolutely love tranexamic acid and i'm glad its been slowly getting the hype it deserves!!! I love the Hada Labo Shirojyun Premium Lotion which also has tranexamic acid! Great video as always Kelly ❤️
Another great video from you, Kelly! Still don't understand how you don't have a gazillion more followers yet! Love tranexamic acid - I ran out of my serum with it (+azelaic+arbutin) for 2 months and could definitely see my skin was missing it!
I'm proud to be using a product from my country that is formulated with 4 great brightening ingredients: 3% tranexamic acid, 5% niacinamide, alpha arbutin, and undecylenoyl phenylalanine (an amino acid that inhibits melanine creation). The brand is Soul Apothecary and the product is their Radiance Boost Serum. I have before and after pics to document my skin's improvement with this product and I can really see how much it helped! Hope to see you try it one day.
@@lindaalbergo1 Yup! That's the 15ml one though. I get the 30ml bottle which is 450 pesos or about 8 dollars. :) Edit: Whoops it's actually 550 pesos @_@
I am a long time follower. I don't comment often, but I always leave a like. I just wanted to say I absolutely LOVE your backgrounds. You keep them simple and don't have a tons of products in the background. My adhd kicks in and I find myself looking at people's shelves more than listening to what they are saying. Anywhooooo..... love and appreciation your content 💜
I've been using the cos de Baja tranexamic acid with both of their vitamin c serums, love them and seeing results, I also use the Benton aloe and green tea toner in between the serums and top it withKlairs vitamin e cream\mask.💞
Finally somebody noticed my HG Isntree onion gel cream, thank you Kelly!!!! I absolutely love everything about this cream! Even though I knew it wouldn't be enough for my dry skin, I still wanted to try and see the benefits of onion ..and I'm so glad I did! I use it as a first night moisturiser just before applying my night cream or my sleeping mask, and it works wonders on hyperpigmentation, brightness and even texture. I'm already on my 3rd tube and have a backup as well, cause I can't live without it. I really want to try the onion toner pads but they are so expensive, I think I'll wait for an offer or something.
an underrated tranexamic acid product is naturiums Multi-Bright Tranexamic Acid Treatment 5%. It has 5% Tranexamic acid (like the name says), 1% encapsulated kojic acid (making it less irritating, great if u have sensitive skin), 1% alpha-arbutin (i think we all know this one by now) and acetyl glucosamine. The texture of this formula is so nice and it glides on sooo smoothly
Love my tranexamic acid paired with kojic acid, heard a lot about it being an ideal combo! The Naturium 5% is like $20 and super light, gentle, and affordable ☺️ hoping to try the one with tranexamic acid and arbutin in it!
Same!!! I’m using the Naturium 5% now & getting the one with AA next. I would’ve just gone with that one first (I have plenty of niacinamide in everything else) but I didn’t realize it existed.
I have Tranexamic acid in my Curology rx in order to reduce the redness in my face. My skin type doesn't get hyperpigmentation but is so red that the last thing I want is to brighten it..lol.. I think it's fascinating that TA can do such different things depending on your skin type! But I highly recommend it for those looking to tone down the redness from sun damage or light rosacea. Love your videos, Kelly!
love the Facetheory Exaglow serum (5% tranexamic acid) combined with Timeless 20% Vitamin C serum. seen a lot of lightening on hyperpigmentation with this pair. Kelly, love your videos so much and wondering if there’s a reason you haven’t been posting a third video a week like you sometimes do😢 been binge watching some of your older videos as I love your content that much!
Excellent video Kelly, like you I also find most types of Vitamin C irritate my skin until I found Holifrog Sunnyside C Glow Serum. I use this every morning and it does not irritate or make my skin red. It has a 15% Vitamin C combo, 3% Tranexamic Acid and 2% Niacinamide and whole lot of other goodies. 😊
Hi Kelly! Just recently found your channel and I’m loving it! I think you are the closest to my skin tone !! Curious if you have tried faded from topicals ? It has TA and Tons of other nice ingredients for hyperpigmentation. Thanks!
A'pieu's Mulberry Blemish Clearing Ampoule is a really great & affordable tranexamic acid product imo. I'm really interested in trying the Isntree cream now though!
Thank you so much for your great channel, Kelly! I love the Revolution Skincare Blemish Resurfacing & Recovery 2% Tranexamic Acid Serum. Especially the day after the application of retinol, retinal etc... :)
Another great Tranexamic acid serum that’s cheaper is Puress 5% tranexamic acid. It’s 9.99$ on Amazon and has niacinimide kojic acid licorice panthenol and I’ve used it since June it’s fantastic! I usually put 2 drops into regimen labs level that one has 3% so I just do it anyway lol
My favorite product with tranexamic acid is definitely the Regimen labs level serums. Without a doubt I’ve seen the most benefit from this serum of all the ones I’ve tried. I’ve bought this 3x which is saying a lot for me because I don’t usually stick to one product. I use it 2x a day no matter what and see significant lightening in sun spots and age spots. It has 5% niacinimide and several other melanin inhibitors (way more than I’ve found in one product) as well as 2% alpha arbutin, and several others.
Perfect timing! I was actually looking for some tranexamic acid product to add to my routine. The Isntree seems like a nice option for night time - any note on using it paired with Retinol on the same routine?
Sorry to jump in, I just wanted to say that it works perfectly with retinol. I use it for months now together with my Versed retinol and it has done wonders on my hyperpigmentation and texture ;)
Kelly great video! I wanna know your thoughts on keep cool toner. I adored it beyond anything and since the brand is dead. I need a dupe. Please you are the only one whom i can trust when it comes to toners. None of em are quite as hydrating 😭
I've been happy with the make prem essence toner, that's been my go to for the last few years. Recently tried Roundlab dokdo toner and it's fabulous. I have 2 toner videos you can check for non keep cool recs! (Top 5 toners and the one I just did last week).
Hi Kelly! Wondering if you have tried the azeliac acid from inkey list, I think I’m like you when it comes to texture and besides the ordinary one I wanted to try another affordable option. Hope you have a great day!
I’ve recently started using the Extraglow serum from Facetheory and really find the formula quite elegant. It has some niacinamide and ascorbyl glucoside alongside the tranexamic acid and works splendid as a day serum. Already seen some fading of acne scars and I’m not even that consistent because there’s too much to use right now :)
have you tried the jumiso all day brightening and balancing serum? it has ascorbic acid in it, but it’s a really gentle formula. don’t know how much vitamin c it has in it though. don’t know how well it works on hyperpigmentation either since i only used 1 bottle of it. it didn’t do anything bad to my skin though, and it was gentle enough to use on days that my skin was irritated from other products.
My sun damage comes in the form of white patches vs. Dark patches. I've been told I have very little melanin in my skin. I'm very fair. Will this help even out the white patches?
Paula's Choice is having a sale right now if anyone wants to splurge on that serum. $42 on sale. Is Paula's Choice really worth it? Thinking of splurging...
I’m seeing this comment quite late - I can say I switched to the Paula’s Choice azelaic acid some time ago and it was amazing on my moderately severe rosacea! Although they’re costly I’m going to try more from the brand as soon as I’m able!!❣️👍🎉🤗
Hi Kelly Ummm the tranexamic inkey list Serum I use is a clear gel type when pumped out definitely not the orange colour you showed on your video . I'm so confused 😕 I only bought mine a couple of months ago. Is that a new reformulated release???
Sometimes even vitamin c derivatives (which this has in it)after a while do turn a darker color, hers may be a bit older or had been sitting in the shelf longer. I’ve had several derivatives that I’ve held onto, only to come back a year later and find it oxidized.
what is the best first essence and toner for combo acne prone skin that can get dry from retin-a? i am currently using either the missha artemesia essence or the missha time revolution essence. then toner wise im using cosrx cica or the april skin artemesia toner. r those good or is there anything better
A little off subject but can anyone recommend a good Korean compact cushion brand that doesn’t use titanium dioxide in it ? It seems so many products use this ingredient that it’s hard to get away from it .
Thanks for the video, I'm so keen to try more products with tranexamic acid in. I've got the onion repair cream which I slug with! Kelly, can you use tranexamic acid with copper peptides? Specifically the high dose niod serum?
Kelly, why does your Inkey List Tranexamic Acid look ORANGE in this video???? It's supposed to be a white cream color. Not orange. I'm concerned you may have received one that was spoiled or expired. It just doesn't look right at all.
Everyone is a “melanined skin toned” as everyone produces melanin lol. Some just produce more than others, but regardless everyone has it. Just say you’re a POC 😂
What sun damage are you talking about if you’ve been using sunscreen for years ? Also how do you know that IT is the tranexamic acid that helped with dark pigmentation if you use Retinol and many other things that also are supposed to lighten the dark spots?
So these products worked for you. I have to take skincare advice with a grain of salt from skin influencers because I have found what works for you maybe not be suited for me. No shade. Just being realistic.
I mean, that is the right mindset to have with any recommendations from anyone including some dermatologist recommended products since with my own skincare journey, it had a lot to do with trial and error and just figuring out what worked best with my skin based on advices on what to look for in certain products😁
@@haiqalkamaruzzamel495 true. But I have gotten skincare products from Kelly's suggestions and I did love ❤️ them, so I do listen to skincare influencer s
@@aprilneilson1163then your backhanded comment wasn’t really necessary then, was it? It comes off quite dismissive and rude. It’s common sense that any product out there isn’t a one-size-fits-all. Even dermatologist recommendations aren’t always right.
