So you never heard of Canada’s most elite? GOOD Edit: Just wanted to clarify that this reply was a joke, flame me all you want, a quantum super computer, calculating for a thousand years, cannot even approach the number of fucks I do not give
@@rahulsingha1453 I think the point was, that for a common civilian more so in a country that doesn't has guns like mine. I would never mess with anyone with a gun much less a living killing machine like they are. So ya the title is kinda strange since I wouldn't even mess with the average soldier since first of all they have guns and I don't. U don't need years of training to just shot me dead xD
@@rahulsingha1453 Ah not saying you do. Just saying that we would never have any business messing with any kind of soldier much less against a special forces one.
@@yukithedoggo2690 Damn near all of the footage for the Delta Force topic was Green Berets training footage. Lol. The rest were pretty cool but still mixed. It was a great video overall. Besides I’m not smart enough to edit a video this badass. Lol.
@@DemonKnight94 If i'm not mistaken there were multiple family members limbs sent to each of the terrorists, with one of them receiving an arm or head.
Turkish SAT Commandos or Special Forces (Bordeaux Berets) are not featured in such videos. However, the Burgundy Berets have won the NATO competitions many times, and the SAT Commandos are among the best in the world in terms of the sea. I'm not looking for a reason in this, but I suggest you do your research.
It is better for them not to know Bordo Bereliler. NATO cancelled special forces competition after Turks won it 4 times in a row. Delta Forces are definitely a group of people that withold extraordinary skills and get a big budget for their training. Yet, they are far behind our SAT. They are like kids in the swimming pool in the comparison. Some people may ask why? It is probably better for most of these people not to know :)
@@tayrexcanavar7570 No, there is no big difference as you mentioned. Elite troops of each country are highly trained and qualified soldiers. Our S.A.T Commandos and Special Forces are the children of a warrior race thousands of years old. That's why they are ceusr, warrior and skilled soldiers. Their training is one of the most difficult. But after all, they're all human. They are not robots.
GueOmDuduto yeah like wearing a couple dozens of pounds for a few hours running as basic training is gonna do the same thing as walking around the street to a McDonald’s
Most of them came from tier 2 units, which you failed to mention. There are tiers: tier 3 units, tier 2, and tier 1. It's like a ladder to climb up. It's not just about training. Most tier 1 units are hand picks from the lower tiers, so tier 1 units are basically the best of the best. Although the "tier" terms aren't really used in their operation. For example, a tier 2 unit don't and will never call themselves tier 2. Same with tier 1 units. The only difference between tiers is funding, hence there's a saying in the military: "Follow the money."
The SAS rescued over 30 hostages in the Iranian embassy siege and it was done by one man who blasted a wall open with c4 because he did not have a breaching charge.
The SAS are also extensively trained in Paramedics and Trauma care by being seconded to doctors in ICUs across the United Kingdom. They are also taught to deliver babies in order to assist with "Hearts and Minds" operations. The mindset behind their training is very clever, there are very few things a Trooper can't do in the field.
@@وجارالذئب-ر1ل not sure why you were laughing. The SAS and SBS participate in an intensive 6 week course alongside Drs and surgeons.. trained to th same practical level, within the context of the type of care they could realistically offer in the field. Their military status is not disclosed to the other students. It is the massive amount of soft skills training they receive, in addition to the cliche saber functions, that makes them so interesting and the need for fast learning and intelligence under duress. It is one course after another...
Starting to realize I might have been a bit excessive in my daily training when I was young. I thought that 100 push-ups, (Chinese and standard ) 100 sit-ups ( Chinese, knee-ups and standard crunches ) and then 200 jumping jacks on top of a mile run was a bit weak and I'd have trouble getting in the Marines. Now I'm realizing if I hadn't gotten Leukemia, they prolly would've been like " You uh... you ever thought about shooting a little higher? " ( I was doing this daily after school, then going to MMA classes, doing all the exercises there, sparring with some people that would wear me out more. My body was to the point I had what friends called " Back-abs " and I used to get asked to take my shirt off and flex in Junior High. I didn't have some massive, muscular form. I was still a little stick figure. It's just that I had less than 1.5% fat on my body according to the little " body composition " test. Coaches were always impressed when that time came around and would press me to join a sport. I'd just tell them " No time. Sports're a waste of time when you can be training for something way better. " First time I answered like that they asked " What for? " and I told them what I was training for. Never got asked again 'cause coaches were also very patriotic, so instead they began helping me out by pushing me way harder in gym. Everybody's doing twenty push-ups? I had to do fifty without screwing up my form or he'd make me restart. Miss those days. Miss my muscles that all atrophied away because Leukemia and chemo means " No exercise and your muscles die far faster than you can use them. "
thats actually kinda sad men... you could've done it but life decided to be an absolute b!tch to you and gave you cancer. life has ups and downs but if ur determined enough you'll go through it all, and also thanks for the story
How about the Scout Rangers of the Philippines? They are one of the insane special forces, they expert in guerilla and jungle warfare they can take down enemies without any high-tech weapons just pure instinct. They have also extreme trainings, it should be included these badass scout rangers from most elite special forces in the world.
you have actually listened to crap that the U.S.A. is the best and those who obey them, When will you people from Asia and other continents understand that you have more power than them.
Thank you for winning the war with very few causalities in Libya, Syria, Iran, Iraq, Afghanistan and now Ukraine. We are now living in a more peaceful, freedom loving and kind world. Thank you
Some of the stuff they do is incredible, i had some limited time with some SAS lads and they were much younger than i expected and all very slim but boy were they strong. Not too tall either as it makes entry techniques easier not banging your head or catching equipment. I learned a lot from them. Every respect to all who go through the training and put it to good use.
Being short gives you a low center of gravity making carrying heavy loads over long distances more manageable, that's the primary reason lots of short guys pass selection
@@jedaaa it's also not about who has the most muscle or meat heads......being big is a terrible hindrance for spec ops. These guys build stamina and endurance not meat heads. Meat heads are what us marines are for
Taiwanese Special forces: forced to crawl across sharp pointy rocks to complete training. Instructors: may I offer u some salt water in these trying times?
The fitness stats you mentioned for sas are just the standard British army tests. All British soldiers must pass the 1,5 mile run in 10,30 after doing 50 press-ups and 50situps both in under 2 mins. Sas training in 6 months and is brutal, you can't join you have to be serving and selected after showing an interes
Worth of mention is polish GROM. They have catch 30 people from 52 of Iraqui Most Wanted Deck od Cards, also they were cooperating with Delta Force, and Navy Seals.
Yeah, I think two of the terrorists survived. I know one of them stayed in the UK and lives/lived on taxpayers exoense in London after he was released from Prison.
@@antmax I remember watching an interview with one of the SAS lads who said they were going to kill them in the back garden but they noticed press cameras were pointed there so didn't.
@@Samouraii There is a really good book by one of the Troopers. Rusty Firmin. It's called Go!, Go! Go! and goes into a lot of detail about the whole event from the Police, SAS and terrorist point of view and procedures etc. It is really well done. It was recently made into a film... a lot of the detail and procedure was removed from the film, like the hostages having developed Stockholm syndrome towards the end of the 6 day siege. BTW "6 Days" is the name of the film and the author took an active part in the production to make sure what was shown was as authentic as possible.
Its funny how noone even mentions the KSK the actual German Special Forces of the Military. Could be because there are like very little informations about them and their operations tho lol
@darshanik sorry keren ..... bhai thora mazak se itna bura nahi lagna chahiye......waise bhi wo compliment kiya hai soldiers ke training ko ...ki ..unka training ek fictional superhero se bhi double hai .......try to take things positively ,man
UK also has SBS ( special boat service ) which is considered by many to be better than SAS, although SBS more like USA seals being more naval than army.
"I trust that the ceramic trauma plate I’m wearing, will stop a 357 magnum round travelling at 490 meters per second. I trust myself not to move, not to flinch. I trust my teammates. And they, trust me." -Rook from Team Rainbow
Yea, and also the SAS bit where he says about doing sit ups, press ups etc and a 1.5 mile run is literally basic fitness levels before you can join just basic training for regular armed forces in the UK, good research on the video he’s made. 😂
5:50 2 hostages? err no they rescued all but one "During the 17-minute raid they rescued all but one of the remaining hostages and killed five of the six hostage-takers." And let's be honest, they've done more missions over a greater scope than you'd ever imagine, all top secret.
Yeh I never take these videos as fact. Especially when it's narrated by a goofy noise anchor voice. Zero passion and just spewing what they found as "resesrch"
At the beginning, I saw that operative descending on a line fell on that awning and couldn’t get up. The two of them fumbled around with it as if it was supposed to be solid. Pure gold.
"Why you never mess with a group of people with guns and permission to kill pretty much anyone they want without real consequences." Oh gee mister, please tell me why??
Watched a documentary on it once, after catching you during the escape training they but you in a small metal cage wich is covered and start banging on it and hitting you for 36 hours while playing horrible sounds to get you scared, if you give out any information at all you can't join the SAS
I mean worlds best is not something that can be easily said like that, just because it isnt mentioned doesnt mean they arent elite, If there was videos of them engaging the enemy or training I am sure it would be on a video somewhere.
The force at 9:00 is normally called Ghost Force (not frogman) and it's the most secretive unit in Taiwan (It's why they have to wear that badass masks in public). Those are trained to individually defeat at least 3 frogmen with bare hands.
I think you'll find that the S.A.S. are the original tier 1 special forces and they rescued more than 2 people in the Iranian embassy siege. It was closer to twenty.
Minor correction to the Taiwanese Special Forces aka Frogman, the 10weeks training is only for the boot camp which ends with Road to Heaven as a graduation exam. After the boot camp, you are sent to specialized elements that trains you for years.
ALL special forces have ONE originating 'daddy' David Stirling, the man whose idea lead to the Special Sir Service (SAS) and Special Boats Service (SBS) way back during the 2nd world war. After that countries picked up on the idea, some slow like the USA some much quicker like Australia. Lieutenant Colonel Sir Archibald David Stirling, DSO, OBE was a Scottish officer in the British Army, mountaineer, and the founder of the Special Air Service in 1941, SBS in 1943.
That is the dumbest thing I've ever heard. So your saying a really dumb soldier that's spent 4 years in the military who is unorganized, clumsy, loud, and has very little knowledge of what to actually do beats a highly trained Delta force or Navy seal soldier because they've been there a bit longer? Because apparently "NO MATTER how much your trained experience wins."
Actually the SAS does a 40 mile walk with 69 pounds on the back after that the y do jungle phase and then 36hour interrogation but not before a manhunt
a fundamental difference in the physical phase of selection in UK SF is the focus on the individual, not the team. And there is an expectation that you have to use your intelligence in how to achieve the goals. How to train; look after the body; and manage yourself in-between each trial... Not all the tests make it clear on when you finish; whether you have marched fast enough to create self doubt. this can go on for the whole duration of the selection; to then drop you at the end, even if you pass the physical, if you do not fit in. Much more endurance and psychological than many others
