Friend you focused on the light but forgot the back ground. . in the background the light stands were very visible coz you had a reflective glass window
You are totally right. Unfortunately I didn’t have any solid Black flags to block it so yes they are visible. With that being said that would not change the quality of the light hitting my face. Therefore, the softness test is still viable.
Thus, the issue with bounce. You can’t control spill as easily as opposed to let’s say a soft box. This actually answers my question I came to ask regarding diffusion versus bounce. Both work, but it’s a matter of setup/equipment you have on hand and the look you are going for. Thanks for the video!!!!
Hahaha!! Yeah I hopped on that bandwagon back in 2015. I personally like them but sometimes I need more punch and will rent some 2K LED Lupo’s if I’m feeling fancy
@@filmmakersblog They seem to be pretty impressive lights but so far out of many of our price range, I tend to stop watching the moment they come on screen. Sure, the principles are the same but not until I can sell my Unicorn will I be able to afford them.
Very true. They are expensive but there are some cheaper solutions out there. But if you want a high CRI and an output above a 1K you’re gunna have to pay a pretty penny
