literally the smoothest accelerating AMG is the 6.2l variant. I've owned 4 AMGs and the 6.2 is the one that you don't have to worry about traction because of the torque curve of this engine is sublime. I currently have a 5.5l e63 s model and oh boy that rear end is forever facing 45 degrees from straight 🤣.the 5.5l makes you shit your pants when you put your foot down . the 6.2 I had just goes really really fast without any drama.

I have a 2011 e63 amg. Don’t let Big Mercedes scare you into only going to their dealership for maintenance. OEM parts are not at all cheap. But they will kill you on labor costs at the dealership. IF you can do it yourself, DO IT YOURSELF

it's a lovely car I owning w211 63 amg but if you are unlucky it can be very costly. The fuel consumption it's the smallest problem. To keep the car in good condition is not cheap. The M156 it's a lovely engine. Power from capacity. But it has some manufacter issue which you need to take extra care before you buy one of these.

Anybody know was there an issue with the head bolts same engine as c63 as Merc revised the problem 2011-2012 the c63 carried on 6.2 past 2011 but the e63 changed engine to 5.5 bi turbo 2012 was looking at e63 but worried about issue obvs can get warranty depending but thinking is it best to get 2012 c63 onwards

yeah they’re beautiful to look at but wait until one of those computers/modules break and let’s see how much it costs to fix them lol I owned a much lower end c43 and the best thing I did was sell it honestly! all amgs are money pits and most ppl who own them lie to themselves in order to justify owning one but ask them about maintenance and how much parts cost when something breaks (and it will)

I have pretty much this exact car minus the tv screens in the back..... 2010 Black car same wheels same interior etc. Original reciept for it was 89k with all the extra's fukin madness when u consider what you can pick them up for now

This is the best value for the dollar you get over 500HP for right around $10k us dollars!!! Where in the hell can you get much power and performance for that price point?? And it's a Mercedes E class which has a bullet proof engine!

Yeah but this is the 6.3, not the 5.5. Pretty sure the 6.3 had more issues then the 5.5 bi-turbo.

Been there done that, they are fantastic cars uber fast and luxurious but hidious to run, 14mpg normally, £1k on front brakes alone, £500 on tax, eats rear tires for fun and to top it off when I traded it in a year later it cost me £9k in depreciation... Cracking car but never again

Not sure why you’d pick this over a E350 CDI with 265Ponies easily tuneable to over 300bhp with buckets full of torque decent mpg and will crack 160MPH with a limiter delete
