Primaris Space Marines lore: we have spent the last 10k years working to slightly improve upon the designs the Emperor used to craft Humanity's finest weapon. Primaris Ork lore: Da hummies is bigga, so we's gots to get bigga to krump 'em!
It is hilariously fun that Ork weapons do things like randomly shoot a force bubble that hits an adversary and pops with just a bit of a tickle, while the next bubble slams into them with the force of a planet sending them into high orbit as a squishy paste.
Two? Oh you will need a few more. Da deffdreads are a great fun in a dread waaagh... Deffdreads are also a solid source of bits... like massive bits if you think you got enough. Hint never enough dakka or deffdreads well game wise it is 9... at 2k Save money on flashgitz unless you want the pirate stuff and just convert your extra nobs. Da pain boy makes a solid conversion for Mek with kff. Although legended putting a pain boy on bike is solid for narrative games. Just a few extra reasons for getting a few more get started.
I just bought an ork patrol set today and this is the first video I’ve ever watched on warhammer. I am so hyped thank you for zooming in on all these different models
I love orks! Only got back into warhammer during lockdown since I was a young lad and collecting space wolves an army I’ve always loved for lore and models but seriously considering orks next
Ork players don't have piles of shame, they have morkshops & gorkshops full of parts for inspiration to build the most biggest - crumpin'est - dakka-iest creations! Plus fantastic collection!
@@billiondollarclownfarm The owner of the legendary warlord titan who got a raise at work? The guy who single handedly led the invasion of that one space hulk with the zoats? Emperor protects, man!
Amazing colour scheme!! Love the look of you collection. I am inspired to take on my mountain of grey orks now. What paints did you use, especially for that blue.
I feel like we need a Ork game following one boyz ascension to warboss. I'm thinking you should be able to evolve into a Nob, Pain boy, Mech or Weird boy depending on your brutality and cunning. Furthermore, based on your choices it will shape your warband.
I have 200-300 metallic models from the mid 80's. Most are painted, but I wonder if they're worth anything? Not orcs, specifically, just a lot of stuff.
Currenty I'm right on with getting more orkz! Just today picked up Ghaz and a set of bikers, going to be ordering the SC soon as well and then see what will the new boyz offer!
ORKS ORKS ORKS ORKS!!!! For those of you who played Eternal Crusade when it was at it's peak popularity, I have to say the Ork faction was always the most fun to play. People always typed in game chat AZ ONE A' DEM BOIZ and win or lose it was always a good time. And when you would win towards the end of the game all the orks would raise their guns into the air and fire randomly. This faction has a ton of personality and does not take itself seriously.
Kitbashing with orks is basically easy-mode. Your rivets and armor panels are different sizes and types on the same vehicle? They were obviously made by different grots and just thrown in place. You want to craft a nob sized power klaw onto an tiny old metal painboy? Trim the meeting points and paint the arm a different color, explaining it as the painboy swiping a arm from a dead nob.
I initially started with Orks, but my largest collection is my Adepta Sororitas at just over 3,500 pts which is still growing there's a lot of models I don't have for this army still lol! The Sisters have been my favourite army since Dawn of War Soulstorm, just running around the map and dealing death by morale was such an awesome way to play with every squad having maxed special weapons with flamers (it did kill my frames haha). Initially was going to paint them as Sacred Rose but settled on the Soulstorm era version of Our Martyred Lady (Instead of white/silver details those details are all gold)
I too aspire to be a great Warboss! Great video Titans, appreciate getting to see your collections. Small suggestion would be to add a strengths and weaknesses section!
Adrian! You definitelky inspired me to start Orks and I am super excited by my little Waaaagh! I have always wondered, what blue are you using for your army? I just love it so much!
Love to see some Ork love. Can’t wait for all the Ork videos on tactics, wargear and list building when the new 9th codex drops. Also I would like to say I would like to see you revisit Deathwatch. Just started up the army and there are so few resources out there. I’ve probably watched your Deathwatch video a dozen times trying to help my purchasing decisions and what direction to go towards. I will say you may want to rethink the Proteus Killteam. They may not be as good as the others but there is definitely a lot of flexibility and in general they cost cheaper which means more units in the end.
*Question:* I just started collecting Orks. Do I have to commit to using one clan in games or can they be mixed? I understand that each clan has their own colour schemes, but I really like the look of the green Ork skin contrasting with 'sneaky' purple. I'm about to order the codex, so maybe that will help me. Just trying to find out the boundaries before I go splashing purple paint everywhere 🤣
My favorite army is Admech, love the models, game play so versatile. If you want to build a shooting list, I think it best army to do it with. But A pure hand to hand admech is so much fun to run. It throws people off
I have always loved Orks in the lore, so much so that I have been given a few small kits (Not enough to make an army with) by family members that thought I was collecting them. So I got some Gretchins with two Runt-Herds, and a 5-man Loota squad. However, what I'd really like to see is Boyz with more armour, like the 'Ard Boyz in AoS. Because I can't bring myself to bear an army that is semi-armoured/armour-less. That being said, I have my Space Marines and I will not be able to collect a second army for a very long time, but I am hoping we see some great stuff Rules-wise and Model-wise for the Orks.
Adrian i’m in love with your conversions. i won a dakkajet kit but already have plenty of planes built and painted, wanted to convert the kit into a scrapjet. wondering if you have any tips for the tank tracks? did you get some spare scrapjet tracks? or are they salvaged from elsewhere? always a pleasure to watch these beautiful boyz in action. cheers
Sooo true... I never had more fun then kitbashing my Snakebite Wyrm killa tribe with the "new" beast snaggas and Mozrog at the top. They're not feral orks who are just AoS Orks with 40k guns but I rather had kitbashing the new 10th edition ork boyz with a lot of tyranid stuff like trophys, skin, skulls, dead bodys on the base etc. I always get another cool idea... for my weirdboyz, Bossdok or squighog riders.
Dems alot of Orks. I really admire Adrian’s commitment and love of this faction. Orks seem so fun. Someday if I can commit to the level necessary for this awesome faction I will. Until then I will enjoy watching others field this fun army. What’s that you say? New bigger orks and orks on squigs? You know what’s the harm in getting one? No biggie. So it begins.
Your arguments were so convincing, that they cut through the fabric of reality, so much so that I collect and convert them for 13 years now and counting when I heard them. #truestory
Great army on display here! I love me some Space Orks, but man they sure need some model updates-- specifically to the base Boyz kit. Thankfully the new Beast Snaggas are just an arm/weapon swap away from being a suitable stand in.
Great video, only one thing I think was missed. How do you travel with them? I have 2100 points about in ork bodies. What I would love to see is a transportation recommendation for some of these armies. I am looking for some nice cases that can hold an ork sized army.
I would like to get into tabletop some day. I cant paint yet and have no understanding if the actual game as I dont have any friends who actually play it to teach me, but all I know for sure is that my first army is 100% going to be Orkz.
Awsome army, I have about 10k painted badmoon army with 3 stompas and many FW models, But now Im working on Goffs since Ghaz needs some goff boyz to join him
The meme answer is of course "YOUZ KNOW DA ANSA YOU GIT, MOAR BOYZ!". However that entirely depends on how you want to play them. Look at the current book and supplements and see what Kulture seems fun. Getting twenty boys to start means you know you at least have your battle line troops, but after that you tend to get a variety of options. Some units are a little wonky right now, but with the new book coming out things can balance out quickly.
The start collecting is pretty good. Stompa are a great value kit as well, giving you a lot of points for the cost, but sadly the unit itself is too weak for it's points. Otherwise building armies around 2 Stompas would be pretty cheap, but sadly it would be pretty bad right now.
nice vid! ao my favourite Army to cellect would be ... Custodes hahahi have about 9k points of them and i am painting my LAST model as we speak . ( a Coronus) I LOVE how this army looks and play.
I hope they make them better next codex. Getting tabled by armies with lots of saving roles isn’t fun. The fungi are fun for a few turns, but even with buffs it can just turn into putting models back into the box.
I’m an ork player who doesn’t actually have too big of a pile of shame (at least, I have very few unpainted orks.) as far as greenskins go, I’ve only got 3 power klaw nobz... and a kill tank, that aren’t painted, and I have a full force of Orks and even better, REBEL GROTS, that are all parade-ready! I’m super proud of my collection, and I love green skins! (Anyway, gotta get back to painting my shiny new slaanesh daemons 👀)
If the rest of the beast snaggas are as good as the boy they showed then I will 100% be doing a snake bite beast snaggers project. Hopefully they get atleast 10 units as I'd like it to be just the new stuff
If the new orks are on bigger bases I totally understand. Unfortunately, nothing will invalidate a miniature quite like outscaling it. It's one thing to just have a newer cooler version of the same thing, it's another to render every current army as tournament illegal... So if they really wanted to make a newer bigger ork, this is what they had to do.
