I'm a big rig driver and have never given much thought to hotshot rules and regulations. What are the axle weight limits and total weight limits for hotshotting? I'm just curious.
Depends on your setup. For my non cdl setup, I had 26k gcwr 10k gvwr from the truck and 16k gvwr from the trailer. I had two 6k axles on the truck and two 8k axles on the trailer. I could load 10500 lbs on my trailer. When you go cdl hotshot, it's as big as you want. Some guys can carry 18k worth of weight, some over 30k. It just depends on how big you wanna go and how much you wanna spend.
