I have quite a similar experience!! Grew up not believing in God, became a Baptist Christian to catholic, and started meeting with missionaries then going to be baptized in the church soon. June 8th is when my baptism is. I also watched all your guy's videos about the church and learned a lot and it actually answered a lot of questions I had. The Book of Mormon has truly changed my life and my willingness and faith to believe. I'm so thankful for the missionaries! I agree too, meet with missionaries and you'll learn a lot. I'm interested in doing a Zoom call to be interviewed. :)

Amazing the kinds of truth and clarity that come when you get your information from the source rather than second-hand.

Chantel, thanks for sharing your sojourn. I love how the Lord choreographs things in such wondrous detail, and especially how he did it for you. I was baptized in college in 1976, and waded thru the goo of anti-LDS mess, too. To look at you now is so hopeful and beautiful to me. Remember a prayer life. Be blessed! 😊🙏🏽

🙋🏻‍♀️MY EXACT TESTIMONY!!!😊 ☝🏻PLEASE...Please marry someone who is a member of the church (trust me...nearly 30 years later it has become a problem and I will NEVER denounce my faith and/or membership of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints)🙏🏻

I left the church in 2020, but was rebaptized on April 20th, 2024! The missionaries were a big help in my reconversion. I would encourage everyone to meet with them.

At what point did you receive a witness from the Holy Ghost that the Restoration has occurred? And what would you say your testimony is strongest in? Obviously Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ, but in regards to what has come forth or been revealed because of the Restoration.

Wow. 24 Days??? This sounds predatory on the parts of the "wise and caring" Church powers-that-be. Does this raise a red flag for anyone else?

@@reneestewart7977 If one sought out conversion to Judaism or Catholicism, one would be required to engage in a minimum of 6 months of serious and soul searching religious study before the conversion could take place. So 24 days = predatory=red flag.

@@FCP813 When you know, you know. It's a witness from the Holy Spirit. Some might need 6 months, some 2 minutes.
@reneestewart7977
@reneestewart7977 4 месяца назад
@@FCP813 Conversion does not always need months of time and study. It's different for each individual. For some it takes years, and for others not. You can study things relentlessly and still never come to a conclusion. That's what many do, or you can search with pure intent, having faith in Christ, and He will manifest the truth of it unto you by the Power of the Holy Ghost. I promise you. He wants us to exercise our faith in Him and become as a little child, meek and lowly in heart, not arrogant and all knowing, to humbly follow Him and know Him...and become like Him. I'm in my 70's now, but if I had never read one verse of scripture throughout my life, and the Gospel of Jesus Christ were introduced to me for the first time, I could be ready to receive it, as He has told us to be as a little child. Then line upon line, precept upon precept, here a little there a little until you receive a fullness. My father was the son of a minister and grew up in his father and mother's faith, and continued to resist listening to LDS missionaries until I was about 10. When he finally listened to these 2 particular young men, who spiritually prepared themselves to teach him, he connected to the Spirit that they carried with them. He couldn't wait to be baptised. He then had to wait a year to go to the Temple to be sealed to my mother, who was a member already, and for us to be sealed as a family. It was a day I'll never forget. It's a life of good will and charity, love and gratitude, sacrifice and joy in having such a loving Heavenly Father as we all do.
