I do not actually hate my car, but this video is to give insight on a few things to expect when purchasing a 2013 Mustang GT Premium. Insta: @bretts_5.sl0w Songs: NCS Song: Feel Good Artist: Syn Cole NCS Song: Cloud 9 Artist: Itro & Tobu
I’m the opposite, I hate the look of lowered cars because the gap isn’t even anymore. No gap above but big gap on sides just looks goddamn awful to me.
Man if you had a manual you could smoke the tires all day long. My biggest problem is not being able to stop smoking the tires. I have a 2014 I bought new and still love it.
You in NH by any chance? Just bought a 1 owner 2014 gt 6 speed in sterling grey, be a hell of a small world if you sold it and I bought it, definitely a stretch haha.
never selling my 3v i’ll definitely cop a 5.0 at some point though, probably the 2015-17 model year because you can’t fw the coyotes I’m just so stubborn with my 3v and how it sounds😍
None of these things should keep anyone from buying one. Wheel gap? That's ridiculous. Go ahead and lower your car so you can't drive it everywhere anymore.... rolling my eyes. Newsflash = all factory speakers are garbage. They're full range cheap usually paper cone... not just Ford and not just Mustangs. ALL of them. Faster speedometer? That's worth bitching about? The car stock from the factory does not exceed the speedometer. Not being able to turn off the traction control is a legit point. It's your car, if you want to do burnouts it's a free country.
I agree, great cars. I have a video of things I love about it as well. No hate at all, its very nuance things I was pointing out I guess I should have made that clearer. Have a good one 👍
I have the same car year and everything and to do a burnout on auto just make sure your in select shift put the car in 2nd gear foot on the brake and gas it and when you see the rpm’s climb drop it back to 1st and it should start burning out
My understanding was that the 13-14’s have that 2,000 RPM limited when you apply gas and brake bc the Toyota cars had an issue with the electronic throttle sticking. That was a safety feature in case your throttle ever got stuck you would still be able to stop the car. But yeah it is a bummer that you can’t do a burnout. Does donuts just fine though!🤣
There is a hack you have to do to do a burn out you have to hit the track button 3 times and hold in until you get sumthing pop up on the screen I do it every time it works no mod needed it will increase your horsepowers as well
I have Nitto Invos with 285s on the back. Have a manual and it’s FBO. Tires stick so well you have to do a real launch to spin them or pop the clutch. It’s a 13 GT plus convertible so I have extra weight over the rear tires.
The panhard bar is recommended when lowering it for sure. After lowering it I’d say it does ride a bit rougher and I scrape on certain speed bumps but overall I say it is worth it for the looks. Maybe if you did full coil overs it wouldn’t be as rough but ofc that’s more expensive
bro why tf does everyone leave the 2010 ford mustang out of the conversation. its always 05-09 or 11-14, where tf is 2010. its not just him its the whole internet, can someone help me understand
Thanks for the door speaker heads up. I have the 14' GT prem. and I always hated how the drink-holder cubby swallows everything and you need tweezers to get the stuff out from under the lid. Also, the wheel gap sucks. Nice ride!
Not gonna lie these Louisiana roads are most certainly not great either I scrape on things and my car is just on normal lowering springs nothing crazy slammed to the ground or anything
I bought me one clean 14 mustang GT sterling gray and a 6 speed transmission and I bought a staggered set of chrome bullit deep dish wheels from American muscle with Mickey Thompson tires and boy she can fly and I will not waste my time and money doing burnouts but I will pop 150 mph for a split second
Alright I just gotta say, you might need to learn how to drive. I have a 2014 Ford Mustang GT with the automatic and I had no issues with doing a burnout. The car was stock and no tune, but to some it all up the car will do a burn out without having to tune the car.
I really appreciate the support I see u just commented on like three videos 😂 that’s awesome but yea I made this video for fun I definitely still rlly enjoy my car
Yea I understand I was just pointing it out more to give ideas to new owners because in my opinion it’s one of the first things u can do for cheap to make the car a stance a lot better
That still validates my point why would I have to put it in third then go to first to “trick the system” or whatever. A normal manual car you just throw it in first and press the gas and brake
I just got my first one 2011 and its tuned over 550 HP im having trouble shifing from 1st to second gear any tips? The clutch is heavy coming from my 09 370Z
If you’re having problems shifting from first to second and you have 550 hp as you say you do then you don’t need a car with that much hp if you can’t shift to second just sayin
Fbo-full bolt on usually consist of long tube headers, cold air intake, tune, full exhaust, maybe an intake manifold as well. I could be missing a few things but that’s the basics
You shouldn’t go above 155 MPH in a stock Mustang. For one the 2 piece drive shaft will explode on you. And with stock power you’re drag limited anyways around high 160 MPH range. With the manual of course. Not familiar with the autos.
Yea I understand that stock I just think it would be cool to see it a little higher since so many people do upgrade the drive shaft and do other mods. You do have a legitimate point though I never thought of it like that
Sometimes it is a little annoying but as long as a I go slow over them I don’t scrape but when I say slow I mean I basically have to idle over some of the bigger ones 😅
Love your Mustang ! I'm looking at a 2014 Mustang GT Auto with 70k miles at my local dealer for a really good deal... and your Mustang is almost at 100k have you any major issues with it?
Yo i have a 2014 5.0 manual does anyone’s else’s knee hurt from it I driven manual before and even stage 2 and it’s never hurt my knee until I got this car
@@ChooseYourDestiny yes I’m a bolt on car tuned by Lund try putting it in the sport mode with the shift knob and have your traction control off and try doing it in 2nd gear
Sorry bro you not doing it right hold the traction button for 7sec then it will say full trac off or disable. When you did it you got it to advance trac witch haves half the traction control
@m.j.vazquez4720 I’m not too knowledgeable on v6’s my mustang has 130,000 and it’s been great. However, you really got to do research on the seller because even if it’s low miles but all of them are at the track that causes a lot of wear and tear. When shopping for mine I wanted somewhere below 80,000 but this was before prices went a bit crazy
@@ChooseYourDestiny hey sorry to ask again but im talks with a 2007 with 95 thousand no accidents after 3 owners which to me ( looked at carfax) that it was wasnt driven much indivdually but i would really apreaciate your opinion
2006-2009 mustangs I’ve heard are pretty reliable. 2005 is the year they switched to that body style so I would stay away from the first year of a model change. I don’t personally like the look of them as much as the 2011-2014 but I’m sure they are fun cars. What’s the price of the car and is it a gt? Is it auto or manual?
Ur nit picking talking about the speedometer and the factory door speakers, if u wanted to make a video to show off your car just say that then😂😂 2011-2014 gt automatic will burn rubber all day ion know what I got going on
My door speakers were pretty horrible personally but yea the speedometer was definitely nit picking but I rlly do love my car so I had to look hard to find small things I didn’t like. But you can find other videos and forums of people saying u need a tune to burnout in a 2013 auto I didn’t just make that up.
@@ChooseYourDestiny Get a Boss 302 or a GT350 if you want a "racecar" from factory. These cars a mass produced for the average consumer. The average buyer doesnt always want the same things we want in a car.
No sorry I don’t sell them. I picked mine up used from a guy in Louisiana a few years ago. I don’t know much about shipping cars to other countries, but I could imagine it’s a few thousand dollars.
Overall, I absolutely love the car I’ve put tons of miles on it. The video was meant to be very picky for those serious buyers out there that want to be aware of everything👍
I actually did want a Manuel to begin with because I drove my brothers civic si that’s a stick for a while and loved it but when this mustang was posted it was too good of a deal at the time to pass up😆
@@ChooseYourDestiny ya it’s the grey or deep inpact but ya when I get one I want to full drag setup with welds and a vmp blower but I’m broke right now 🤣👌
@@ChooseYourDestiny I hear mustangs aren't great at handling and I want something that can corner hard and be agile and the Vette seem to offer that 10/10...but it's a 20 year old Chevy...lol Ive got a 300whp car now and fast is fun but only being able to go fast in a straight line limits that fun significantly. Appreciate your videos I'll be watching many more trying to educate my decisions
U totally can put one back their the guy I bought it from used to have one in the back but it’s most definitely not ideal and would probably be alot more aggravating than having like a sedan with 4 doors
