Sbgy009 is that one watch to do it all. Such a spectacular dial. One moment it looks dull and black. As soon as light hits, it turns into a shimmering beauty. It happens dynamically like a magic show. So alluring. No spec sheet or RU-vid video can capture it. A unique beauty indeed.
Great video, I think another really underrated 2022 release is the SLGA013 - only watch with the 9RA2 movement in the Heritage series 🔥🔥🔥 Glad you guys were able to get that one for me.
I am wearing my ball marvelite M. My house and sleepy time watch. Your forgotten watch is a stunner! Beautiful dial and watch. That sbgk017 has been calling to me! Stunning watch. Also the slga013. Why am I drawn to the more expensive ones?
It's a very nice watch, Chris! I'm wearing my Planet Ocean "Oreo" GMT today. I love the back plate on that 9R31 movement! I also like how they used gilt for the seconds hand, which gives it contrast, which is key to me for a spring drive as I love to watch the mesmerizing sweep of that smooth seconds hand. I can't wait until you reveal the Invicta you picked out after Christmas!
Nice review Chris. Today I'm sporting my Grand Seiko SLGA007 "Minamo" or more popularly known as "Lake Suwa". Thanks for being a part of this wonderful purchasing experience. I'm gonna guess you got the GS "Bamboo" or one of the new Breitling Superocean Divers. Either way congratulations!
Thank you Rey! Always a pleasure, and I'm glad that you are loving the Minamo. Wow, two very good choices.... But here is a hint -- it isn't from either of those brands :)
Great review of a cool watch. Great dial, spring drive, and the power reserve on the back--what is there not to like? I know you are a White Birch fan so hope you are getting that one for Christmas.
I’m guilty of giving GS a hard time for seemingly being unable to produce that perfect watch, despite getting so close on multiple occasions. This watch, however is EXACTLY the GS I’ve been looking for. 44GS, no date, no dialside power reserve, Spring Drive, beautiful coloured dial. I’m really hoping there’s some decent examples on the pre-owned market in a few years when I have the money. Edit: I reckon you’ve got the blue Omiwatari on the way 👍
@@Littletreasury I don’t think you’ll have got the Mistflake or White Birch as they’re too similar to your Snowflake. Hmm, I’m going for the Evolution 9 Diver then as a final guess.
Happy Thanksgiving Chris. Enjoyed the review a this is a nice piece. Hmm...you didn't get the Omega Seamaster green dial did you? Strapped w/the Broadsword this past turkey meal.
It is a beautiful watch. I think what is causing it to go unnoticed is mostly the price. It looks exactly like other GS models that can be had for half price or less then this watch. It also doesn’t include a steel bracelet for $8k. It’s just hard to justify the price compared to other GS models.
