3:31 I love how you show a clip of him getting baited out the lvl3 by a raw drive rush while he's talking about how good her lvl3 as a reaction tool is 😂😂
@@killahteck402the best thing that Cammy has in that matchup is her ridiculously long-reaching fast buttons. Whiff a donkey kick against any other character and you'll be fine. Whiff it against her and now you're with 25% less health, in the corner and getting mixed. You don't need air approach against Ryu. Everytime I want to get in on your Modern Ryu, I can just Spin Knuckle and be plus in your face. Winning against scrubs who hold up forward does not mean you solved the matchup.
Ask Blanka players this and ask all the top Cammy players. They'll tell you this too. Also Cammy's BEST strength is her use of dive kick. Wanna know who doesn't have to deal with it? Blanka. StHK will ALWAYS trade with dive kick AND during that trade the hitstun is so much that he will actually get to combo it into a slide. Blanka has underrated neutral buttons too so some of her best pokes Blanka can too keep up. So Cammy is a very strong character, her best assets don't work on him. Mena is DEFINITELY godlike though, but Blanka helps
Nah, Punk cooks Mena's secondary - Luke. It's really this particular character that Punk just can't figure out. ProblemX also cooked Punk in LCQ Grand Finals 6-1 with Blanka, let's not forget that also. Mena after 5-0'd Punk last month at Kumite said Punk eventually would figure out Blnka. But for now he doesn't show any signs for that.
skill. In theory, all you need to do is immediately hit down and charge and hopefully you charged for enough frames to do it. In practice, it's a ton of time wasted just to learn a simple timing that you may not even need to use in 99% of your games. That's also why I don't use 5MP>2MP>Flash Kick and go for 5MP>2MP>2MP>Flash Kick instead. Sure, you miss out on using Lvl 3 in that particular combo, but you get a far more consistent route that even leads to a safe jump and if you want to go for lvl3, just do a different combo
My understanding is that a disjointed move just means the hitbox is extended well past the hurtbox -- so not sure how they can consider Cammy's divekick as disjointed when you look at the fact that the hurtbox is huge and covers the entire area of the hitbox (and then some).
