Maybe going forward, some mention of the Indigenous contributions would be good. You stated the culture is a mix of Spanish, African and Caribbean. Well, the overall culture that evolved is Caribbean--it is on the Caribbean coast. The cultural makeup, though, is a mix of Indigenous, African and Spanish descendants and therefore, cultural influence. Yeah, the colonial architecture is cool, but also let's acknowledge the historical stain that it represents, and maybe just a mention of the first people would be nice, especially if you're encouraging other outsiders to come here and learn. Historical context matters. Let's not keep perpetuating the colonization.
