Why would you want to visit the Biltmore Estate? First of all, it’s the largest privately owned home in the U.S. measuring at over 100,000 sqft. Secondly, it’s filled with rich history from the victorian era, and even has some WW2 history as well. It is one of North Carolina’s top attractions to visit, and will not disappoint. So if you’re a history buff and haven’t been there, it might be time to start thinking about it 😁💯

The Biltmore estate is the epitome of Victorian era architecture. That mansion is absolutely beautiful. I’d totally love to visit someday.

I did a study of the biltmoore. It is a beautiful example of Late Victorian Architecture, the craftsmanship displayed in its construction and furnishings is incredible.

I went this spring break and the weather was very nice and the estate had very beautiful flora. Along with that the architecture on the inside was outstanding my favorite room had to be the library and the hall leading up to it, it was so amazing to see.

How cool! If you’re ever up in Northern Ohio you’d definitely like Stan Hywett Hall. The founder of Goodyear rubbers family estate/manor. Amazing condition just like this place and all original. Built in 1915 so there’s a lot of architecture from the Great War period. I’ll have to check this place out the next time I’m in the Carolinas

I’ve been seeing a lot about Goodyear lately… recently found out Goodyear made the black rubber buttons on the uniforms worn by Berdan’s Sharpshooters

I’m sorry but it’s overrated. The amount of money they charge for you to enter and you don’t even get to see a tenth of the house is ridiculous . They also don’t have the ac on. No working bathrooms inside. They over crowd it. I’ll never waste my money on it again. 207 dollars for me and my partner to walk through an over-crowded hot mansion. Waste of my money.

I'm actually going in October with a friend and joked that these people are BILLIONAIRES but charge that amount of money to see their house? THEN an additional fee to see the view from the roof? There aren't many comments here but I'll say this in hopes many will use critical thinking and take a moment....there's NO WAY that horse and buggy people built these old world buildings. ALL in the 1800's, in a year or 2 or 3. It didn't happen. They couldn't do it today. Our history is a LIE and I'll leave it there for anyone who seeks to discover the truth. Be blessed🙏

@@JoyinFlorida. Very interesting. Who built them I wonder? Guessing aliens.

@@dolphingirl4265 I have a different take than that but I'd still the bank on it that horse and buggy people could no way in this world build that building LOL

The brochures bring out the many years it took to build and new for times construction methods. Read about things.
