Man I feel this. I'm not even going for ccna yet, I'm only going for CCT, but can't find any lessons on that, just ccna so I'm trying to cram ccna in a week.
Buy an old Cisco switch (3750: $50) and router (1841: $50) a console cable ($10) and a Raspberry Pi 4 ($60, optional but helpful). Learn to configure them, there are tons of videos at this very site. The physical gear is just more real than a virtual lab at first. Learn the lingo, basic networking then dive into Packet Tracer labs.
Hi, do you have any tips on how to go about adding home lab things to a resume? Maybe some kind of link they can click on to bring them to a website showing your processes? I don't know exactly how that works, I'm just taking a shot in the dark here.
