The gym kept in line with Allah, before I took my Shadada, Stopped drinking, eating pork and started praying to Allah, before and After heavy sets. I first got interested in Islam when I bought a ring(which turned out to have Islamic script on it) then I watched Malcolm X a few years later and seen the ring when I twelve. Funny thing is the gym I went to became a Mosque

Salam, you can be proud of yourself. It is said in Islam that Allah tests those whom He loves. In the Holy Quran, Almighty Allah reminds His servants that trials are inevitable and affect both Muslims and non-Muslims alike (for example, in Surah Al Baqarah, verses 155 and 156). With the advent of supermarkets and western processed foods introduced in the Middle Eastern countries, obesity had increased along with tooth cavities. Prophet Mohamed pbuh discouraged people from overeating and he also encouraged people to keep their teeth clean with the tree bark (miswak) that is still used by especially the Bedouins

It was on my own in that regard, but God was the key component. I looked at my life and looked at myself in the mirror. My smile was gone, my eyes were filled with anger and pain, my body was unhealthy, and my mind was always thinking negatively. I had to make a decision. Did I want to live, be happy, and love God? Or die an early death and never fulfill my purpose in life? The choice was clear. It was true life or true death. I know God has been with me the entire time and removed the doubt from my mind. I'm still a work in progress, but since that time, I've gotten a good job, a wife, a family, I am sober, and my mind, body, and soul are healthy. Now, I just have to keep God in my heart and truly keep giving my best! Thank you for the question, my friend! ❤️🙏

You can work out in different ways. Doesn't have to be gym alone. I personally work put with harcore kayaking every year. You can also do swimming or gymnastic type exercises or just simply running hard. It's so important for a healthy body and mind. May Allah help us all
🔖🔖Texas Love, let's take it deeper: While any sane person will understand that being fit is beneficial, it may turn to obsession, even an hour a day is too much for a suit (body) that will be fed to the worms and replaced with another one for the next eternal life. This should re-arrange that priority to its proper place. 2 intelligent hours a weak is enough if its is done smartly. 45 min/week (for longer stamina) and two or three 30 min session/a week (even divided throughout the day, 10, 10, 10 in idle time while making coffee/waiting for dinner/ cooking, this and eating mostly healthy is more than enough, beyond that it is trading valuable time. Be careful of who claims that the angels are the helpers of Allah , this indicates that Allah needs assistance and this is a sign of weakness and it’s impossible for Allah to be weak. Angels are ordered to do what Allah ordered them to do and they’re created not to disobey Allah and it’s impossible for them to disobey Allah because Allah made them this way.
