Thanks so much! These are just a few ways I like to go about it, and have helped many of my students. But in the end, consistency and repetition is what really makes it work. Good luck with it! 👍🏼

Hi, David. Excellent suggestions here. Thanks. By the way, I'm persevering with your Spanish Spider. It's far from easy, especially when ascending. The descending pattern is a lot easier. Anyway, 10 minutes at the start of each practice session. Stay healthy in these difficult times. Un abrazo

Thanks Micheal! Glad to here the Spider is progressing as well! Yes, for some reason I find it easier descending as well. Which is weird because I think most of time if I had to pick, I feel like my picado is stronger accenting. lol In any case, more tools for us to progress with... Stay healthy as well!

Great! 👍🏼 Just pace yourself, and then add in the metronome. Start slow and gradually try to do it a little faster every week. Keep me posted on your progress! 💪🏼

I tried to do it all i at the same time so far I'm into it 261 hours over 5 weeks The only tip that wotk for me was learn the sequence fadgcf. Or ( a d g c f a ) there are seven frets with that combination fret 11, 10, 8, 6 and 5, 3. 1. Fret 7 is probably the easiest to remember B E A D F# B Fret two second easiest F# B E A C #, F# I think it would be better to learn the notes by the string rather than the freta say Open string D 1. D# 2. E 3. F 4. F# 5. G 6. G# 7. A 8. A# 9. B 10. C 11. C# 12. D Myy goal is to learn the fretboard good enough so that I can follow the many RU-vid instructors. Fingering on their videos. Presently I can follow at 1/2 video speed if I review the fretboard notes before hand . I still have along way to go to completely learn the fretboard at video played at normal speed

Thanks for all the comments and feedback! Yea, they’re a few ways to go about it. But I think the biggest take away for anyone is to not try to do it all in one gulp. You’ll get there soon if you do it a piece at a time! It’s a process. Just be consistent. Best of luck on your guitar journey!
