Eldlich Mad Golden Lord based deck vs Sky Striker
Again this is why you don't spawn Accesscode talker turn 1.
I run this deck because I like Eldlich the Mad Golden Lord, and playing floodgates is super boring, and doesn't take skills at all to play.

Not going to lie, that Striker player played that game very well after the Accesscode misplay, they just got really unlucky with their opponent drawing interactive cards as opposed to, well, something like Gozuki or Necroworld Banshee

early pot of? early kagari? and yeah he bricked so i dont think he could win anyway but he didnt play that well. the only good move was linkuriboh i dont see this often but in this situation it was broken

He misplayed. It's stupid to try and chain anything with access code, coz it defeats the purpose of his effect. He should have avariched after the pops

@@elina1271 you can just veiler accesscode after the resolution of any of his effects. Activating avarice changed nothing.

Usually I hate Eldlich since the only kind you see is Trap card city and nothing else, but this one has my complete respect a legit Zombie/Eldlich deck with actual fun synergies without a crutch like skill drain.

If you put chaining from auto to on, you can activate veiler on resolution of effects, in this case the acces code attack gain. If you're opponent hadnt used avarice, there woud have been no chance for you to activate veiler before he wiped you're board, if you don't toggle on.

Accesscode text said Your opponent cannot activate cards or effect in response to this card's effect activation so I don't think toggle On or Off would have help Active Veiller right after Accesscode is summon that's a different thing.

@@redace4821 You chain to effect resolution not activation. you cant stop the attack gain effect from resolving, but negate it after it resolved and prevent further activation of the destruction effect.

@@redace4821 nope i have activated destiny hero utopia's effect after access codes attack gain effect to pop it before it could pop me because i toggled "On" instead of "Auto". You aren't chaining your effects to access code, you are basically activating an effect after an action has been performed by your opponent. Same reason you can activate effects after your opponent sets spells/traps with toggle "On" but not with "Auto". Just a little tip that can help you out. Also btw you can't chain effect veiler to access code summon because his attack gain effect activates upon his summon and you can't respond to that like you mentioned earlier

Yeah my code talker instincts were kicking in when he just left a giant beat stick on the field with nothing to protect it. Seeing other people using accesscode hurts…

Agree. Accesscode Talker should be used if you have a way to win the game on the same turn and not to make it a giant wall throughout the game.

@@vonnblagaming984 I can definitely get behind this too. To be honest I do think that Mekk-Knight Avramax should be used more in normal decks than Accesscode, the requirement is mildly annoying but most people have 2 “link summoned” monsters anyway.

As a Code Talker enjoyer, seeing Accesscode being hella generic hurts... and even more when other people use it. In our particular scenario, Accesscode is usually co-linked with Transcode Talker, which prevents it and the monsters it is co-linked with from being targeted plus receiving a nice attack boost. Effect Veiler wouldn't have been able to do shit in that case

@@MageOfLuck Avramax is only worth bringing out as a tower if it's summoned using ip masquerena, non-targeting boss monster without destruction protection is still really easy to beat (without using kaiju) for most meta decks.

Ah yes, back in the days when I was bronze. My opponent goes into link summons into Accesscode talker turn 1, and then I used lightning storm in my next turn, and he surrendered immediately 😂

Why didn't you just end the match at turn 3? You could have just use Doomking's skill to banish Accesscode Talker and OTK with both lords and Doomking instead

Have you tried running Bolan? He's actually insane if you open Uni-Zombie + any Eld trap/spell. For reference you can go into Halq by pitching Eld and using him as material after you revive him, summon Bloom from deck, go into Linku, add Bolan, special summon him and in your opponent's turn you can summon back Eld and get Baronne on board, you'll also have the trap, that you searched off of the whatever you pitched to summon Eld, live bc Eld is on board. Only downside is that the Eld you summoned back with Bolan will get banished if he leaves the field. You also get to send a Banshee or Mezuki to gy for followup next turn.

@@vonnblagaming984 you're welcome; forgot to mention you also need Shooting Riser for this to work, you summon it via Halq, use its effect on summon to pitch any level 4, it becomes level 3 then you CL1 Bolan and CL2 Shooting Riser to make Baronne.

Watch the whole video. I didnt use any floodgate cuz its boring and doesnt use any brain cells to play that deck. My deck is heavily based on control with Zombie World, and Eldlich Mad Golden Lord(fusion) as the primary Boss Monster, and just in case Accesscode Talker. Thanks for the view though hehe
