A Platinum match with my Eldlich Mad Golden Lord based deck got matched up in an Eldlich Floodgate deck.
Late game they kinda messed up, could be they are thinking that I have a spell/trap card destroy, but I'll take the dub.

Its always cool to see the Eldlich build I've been talking up and telling people they've been sleeping on kick ass in the meta. Still, if he had gotten Skill Drain it might have gone a bit differently.

I like to use invoked for the fusion variant. Magical Meltdown is pretty dope when combined with seven cities. They can’t react to the disabling effect when you fusion summon Eldlich. I really enjoy the archetype without the floodgates too

At 3:00, that's kinda a bad move to use sanguine at draw phase instead of standby phase when your own Doomking is summoning from GY. If the opponent has Called by the Grave/Harquerro ready to proc at that time, it would resulted in a banished Doomking from GY so you could have saved it via Sanquine during Standby Phase. That, and the opponent would likely chain Maxx C on Doomking's rez in standby so you could always chain it to chain 3, giving the opponents only 1 card draw instead of 2.

So the funniest thing happened, I was making a zombie deck and ended up crafting a card featured in the Eldlich card pack, never pulled from it once before so I got the free pack so I legitimately said out loud, "don't give me Eldlich, I will use it in this Shiranui deck. Don't think I won't." And then I fucking pulled Eldlich lmao. So for the memes I ran a test deck of Shiranui/Eldlich without floodgates and I actually had a fucking blast. Turns out Eldlich can be pretty fun in a proper zombie deck without floodgates. I've always loved the Mad Golden Lords design so I've been trying to incorporate that in to mixed success. Strong when it works but not a ton of extra deck space and hard to fit everything in when you also have zombie world and Balerdroch. Thinking based off a comment I saw here I'm gonna try the Aleister engine to really improve the fusion consistency and just keep the Shiranui deck with standard Eldlich as it's far more consistent that way. Props to you my dude, Mad Golden Lord is dope and it's awesome to see other players running it and non floodgate Eldlich decks. Keep it up.

I have a royal version of the eldlich fusion monster that I got in one of the 750 gem bundles and I'm not making eldlich as my first deck but sometimes I feel I might want to so I just leave it there

I mean if you want to play and have fun, why not? Zombie world alredy sees a lot of play since it kills a lot of type dependant decks, so you could play eldlitch like predaplant easily just fuse away your enemy boss!

The deck is probably more fun but not better. Flipping skill drain automatically wins you the game more often than not. Playing a 2 card combo that accomplishes the same thing is strictly worse. That doesn't mean The fusion eldlich has no competitive uses tho. My fave tech is putting him in my extra deck and superpolying my opponent

I use waking the dragon + flood gates so if i get harpie dusted i can get raidraptor or mad lord from extra deck

Yea i get you it can make games boring sometime but its cheaper to make then most decks i play tri zoo and chain burn too trying to build toons atm but i like going first against with floodgate eldlich vs dryt lol

@@ZANGETSUxPR i think ot has to do with there have being essentially 9 traps to bring out sanguine, if u dont need the 3 trap then easily replaced with staple cards, i tried different combos bit getting that one that not many use turns out not to be great. One banishes graveyard which is great and the other destroys a target, i find the third doesnt stack up unless u have something on the field alrdy to destroy that target anyhow. Instead of that one i use the spell card to bring eldlich as it can be retrieved just like sanguine
