I have about 5 Moment lenses for iPhone and they're pretty great. The only problem I have with them, and I would assume from these lenses, is the weight. I try to use gimbals and the regular and more affordable phone gimbals don't have strong enough motors to correctly work. I liked the video and you showed some great examples of use cases for the lenses. I think that most people won't be interested enough to purchase them as they will see the original camera lenses good enough but when you start really getting into the weeds there is a pull towards getting more "professional" gear that can mimic more expensive options.

Enjoying the Shiftcam LensUltra full kit. The 60mm tele does lose a little surface texture as compared to the built in tele on my 14 Pro Max. The tele also as some lens flair, but it’s about the same as the Moment T-Series 58mm in that regard.

I currently own the Beastgrip lenses & Beastcage. I purchased the Beastcage and lenses because the Beastcage allows me to attach my 82mm filters using a set-up ring. Do you know the diameter of the lenses and the diameter of the Anamorphic adapters? I'm curious if I can use my 82mm filters with the Shiftcam? Also out of curiosity, have you used your phone and Shiftcam case and lensee on a Gimbal? I'm wondering which Gimbbal would work best.

Haven’t heard of Beastgrip. Thanks for the tip. I haven’t tried these lenses on a gimbal…they’re pretty heavy, so I’m pretty sure you’d need a strong all in one gimbal and a counterweight.

I have these lenses and im trying to figure out how to put a regular nd on them without using theirs. Their filters screw in on the outside of the lens not the inside.

I recommend the 60mm Telephoto lens attached to 1x your phone. You can attach it to the 3x for a greater DOF, but you must step further from your subject.

Okay… off topic but I think you are the right person to make the missing RU-vid video! Action cameras and a tracking/following feature on a tripod. This feels like a big gap compared to smart phone gimbals, which often have a tripod+tracking feature. How do you do this?!?!?!? I have an Insta360 One RS Twin, and I desperately wish I could pop it onto the Insta360 Flow and have it track me. 😞

You need the Telesin 360 degree auto tracking tripod! It’s not actually a tripod, but it would give you tracking on any camera that fits on top of it. I tried it out years ago and it works really well - just never got around to making a video about it.

I just recently purchased the grip, 14 pro case and 60mm telephoto lense. When I try using the lense on my 3x sensor it goes black... but works fine on main sensor with 1x and 2x. Am I doing something wrong?

Make sure you’re using a third party camera app like P3 Cinema - I think that’s the name of it. Shiftcam has recommended camera apps to use.

First of all, adding any more lens does not improve the quality of the image, on the other hand, it will degrade the quality. It may cause light interference and increase the likelihood of lens artefacts. Since there are lens from 2 different maker, it will cause multi-lens interenance. This will result is cooler shift and distortions. Proof to me if I'm wrong, but I have 20 years of professional photography

I don’t think they are needed anymore. I personally only used them when I used FaceTime and needed to use a wider view but now that Apple allows the wide angle, I have no need for it.

Fair enough. IMO the fisheye and anamorphic lenses are the most compelling, but only needed for creative work.

I'm still waiting for my product and have just been told (after several emails) there are 'delays' and they won't be shipped now till November. I've asked for a refund. Is this a scam review?

I have the same issue. My package is stuck in customs. Call FedEx and was told they have sent several emails asking for the info they need for clearance, no reply. I sent emails and radio silence.

The case is definitely poor quality indeed!!! I bought 2 sets of lens and the case. Used them in 4 separated occasions but now the case cannot securely hold the lens anymore. My recommendation is DO NOT buy, not worry it!!!

I still have not received my order after 3 months nor are they responding to my emails. I am out of pocket of over €615. Maybe you need to address this issue as you promoted their gear and influenced me and many others to buy. Also next time maybe do some due diligence on companies that send you free stuff. Shiftcam's many issues go back a long way.

I research every company that we work with and did not see red flags for ShiftCam. They have said to relay any inquiries about shipping delays to vip@shiftcam.com

Can someone please help me! Shiftcam are F'ing useless! They will not respond to my messages. I have a 60mm and a 16mm lens for my iphone 14 pro. When I put the lens on the phone, the lens blocks my view, I understand there is something that needs to be downloaded so I can get a full view, but, as I mentioned, Shiftcam are refusing to tell me. Anyone! Please!

Unless you know how to record on Apple Log and color grade, you're wasting your time on these lenses. Because your vids will look like cookie cutter iPhone. Which is over contrasr, over saturated images.

Shooting in log definitely helps. But using lenses like the fisheye and anamorphic will still give you unique looks that you can’t normally get on a phone.
