Thank you for the video. I watched it about 2 weeks ago, again last night and just before my test today. It was the perfect cap to all the other study I'd been doing. Passed at 100 in 103 minutes.
This was the last video I watched the night before my CISSP exam today. Im happy to share I provisionally passed my CISSP exam on my first attempt! My exam stopped right after the 125th question. Thank you, Kelly! You so are inspiring ❤🎉
I watched this video on the car drive over to take the exam and it completely put all of the studying back into perspective, right before the exam. I’m happy to announce I passed the CISSP on the first try! Thank you so much for this great content!
After 175 questions, I am pleased to announce that I provisionally passed the CISSP today. May God continue to bless you and everything you do and if I can donate, help, or support your vision and generosity in any way, please let me know. I will be more than happy to help. Take care!
Thanks, Kelly. I provisionally passed the CISSP exam yesterday. The CISSP Mindset you discussed in the video helped me pass the exam. I am now wearing a new cap, Think Like A Manager.
I watched this video on the morning of my exam yesterday and provisionally passed with 150 questions! I’m sure your help got me through a few tricky questions. I’ll admit, at 150 I was right on the edge so I have no doubt I wouldn’t have passed without this video. Thank you so much for taking the time to put this together!
How would the "think like a manager/consultant" approach have handled this question?: Which of the following standards is typically used to convey public key information in a PKI arrangement? a. Security Assertion Markup Language b. X.400 c. X.509 d. 802.11
@@norwegianzound Great question... I'd like for someone to resond to it also because I heard conflcting stories about how technical and specific the exam is where you're expected to know things cold, like the example you mentioned about... All of those are technology protocols that are used to establish connections between devices different ways... From what I gather... X.509 is used in Public Key exchanges... "In cryptography, X.509 is an Internation Telecommunication Union standard definining the format of publick key certificates. The protocol is used in TLS/SSL, which is the basis for HTTPS, the secure protocol for browsing the web." My professor told me to study the minutia of the PKI protocol... Now I see why... Separately, on a separate recording Professor Handerhan made UDP Protocol joke that I thought was hilarious! Just like the UDP Protocol, she doesn't care if you get it... I guess the aim of the test is for us to know the technical specifics of these protocols well enough to laugh out loud at 3am like I did when I heard the joke... Research TCP vs UDP protocols and it'll make sense... Great question... You gave me ideas on how to learn this stuff a little better...
It won't, that is a knowledge question. You still need knowledge of the exam, but the point of the video is that you won't pass this exam without the correct mindset. @@norwegianzound
Thank you Kelly! 🤩 The day before my exam, I was overwhelmed by all the details I didn't master. Then I thought I needed to watch this video. And... the 10 advices you gave probably saved me. There were many questions where I could spot 2 or oven 3 good answers, and every time, one of your pieces of advice would pop up. And eventually, I provisionally passed it at 125Q. Thanks again for this video and the training in Cybrary!!! 🥰
Hi Kelly, I passed my CISSP exam yesterday. I listened to this video on my way to the testing center, which helped me to focus before the Exam. Thank you for the excellent videos on RU-vid and Cybrary, they were key in my journey of passing the CISSP.
Thank you Kelly. I passed the cissp exam today at around 105 questions. I listened to your video over and over on the car ride to the exam. THANK YOU!!
I watched this video probably 5 or 6 times during my studies. Once when I started studying the book, again when I watched your video series, again when I started taking practice tests, again during my cram session during the week, and again this morning. Provisionally passed at 100 questions. #8 was probably the biggest piece of advice. If I was stuck on a question, I'd think to myself "what does the CISSP want me to answer?" I'd get out of the weeds. Thank you so much Ms. Handerhan!
Thnak you Kelly. I'm just starting out on my CISSP journey and this, with Luke Ahmed's 'Think Like a Manager' have totally transformed my thinking and approach.
Highly recommend you to this video on the way to your exam or the morning of! Just passed on my first attempt at 125 questions. It really came down to mindset.
Would you please advise me, how many technical question you saw on the exam? I'm having my exam in 4 days and just practicing questions in Pocket Prep, but they seems too technical and not 100% CISSP related. I appreciate it if you can share that with me.
Hey! Don’t worry, most of my prep questions seemed technical too. That’s why this video from Kelly is so helpful, try to think like a leader and a risk manager and the technical knowledge will still be beneficial. Good luck!
Thank you so much. I stumbled on your message few days to my exam on Thursday July 21, 2022 (few days ago). It gingered me up and helped me to gain confidence to pass the exam two days ago. I am now an Associate. 'Don't fix things,' if I didn't watch your video I would fixed thing during the exam. I found questions like that in the exam and I was tempted to fix it, but was cautioned several times. It worked. Thank you.
Thanks Kelly! I didn't pass the first time but I passed the 2nd time. I think it could be in large part to your advice to not think like a developer. Appreciate the video!
I passed CISSP provisionally today. Thank you for the great 10 min videos and this why you will pass the CISSP video. It was fun learning with you and feels great to have passed the exam too!
First of all, thank you Kelly for putting this video together with some great exam tips. This is a MUST WATCH before going to the exam center. I watched it at least three times to ensure I get what Kelly is referring to and also to ensure it is in the back of my mind while taking the exam. It helped on questions that has BEST, LEAST, etc., type of scenario's. I passed the exam this afternoon after going through all 150 questions in about 2.5 hrs time.... All the best to folks that are preparing for this exam. Its not easy and at the same time not too difficult too...just need the right kind of preparation and mindset.
I passed provisionally at 126 .. and trust me that it’s all in the mindset. Dare to think like big guns and you will get through. I had 50 questions left with 63 mins to go as I spent more time initially. But thanks to all the blessings it ended at 126.🤘🏼
This is to inform that I have provisionally passed CISSP Today. Your classes, tips, advices all helped a lot to achieve this. Thank you for all your advice and guidance.
Hi Kelly. Thank you for this video. I have passed the CISSP exam and as of this morning am certified. It is in no less part thanks to this video. Your words were at the back of my mind the whole duration of the exam! Thank you so much for taking the time make these videos.
Thanks Kelly, Passed yesterday at 125 questions. That was the easiest and hardest test I've ever taken. You have 0 idea how you are doing during it, every question has 2 good choices and you must pick the best/worst one. So glad that's over with!
I watched this video towards the last few days leading to the exam. I honestly believed I would fail, but I kept these 10 points close to me as I answered everything. This mindset is all you need. I followed what I learnt here and not my instincts and I was able to pass because of that. Its way too easy to pick the right technical answers, you got to stick to thinking like a manager like how Kelly's clearly mentioned in this video.
Thank you very much for this video Kelly. It helped me provisionally pass my test today. I started getting upset when my test kept going after question 125, but remembered why I am going to pass. Thank you again.
Great videos and sound advise. I just sat for my CISSP exam this morning and got the provisionally passed after 109 questions .... Thank you so much for taking the effort to make this video.
Watched this video 10 times in the span of 3 days and passed my exam today! I attribute a lot to this video because it helps you get in the CORRECT mindset for passing the exam.
I provisionally passed the exam and all these techniques are really helpful and " think like a manager " is the overall technique to pass the exam..All the best
Thanks Kelly, Today I provisionally passed my cissp exam. You boost my confidence to hell. That help ne a lot to sustain upto 175 questions. You are the best..!thanks thanks a lot... 😄
Provisional Passed at 165, 1st attempt Thank you for putting together this together Kelly. I had this video on replay the last week before the exam. This video definitely changed my mindset. Thank you, Kelly. Happy Holidays!
Hi kelly, today I provisionally passed my CISSP, i would specially thanks to you for making such kind of content that help candidates for preparing their exams with proper mind sets, i was following most of your videos that prepared me for the exam, I am very happy to clear the exam, thank you so much.
Very useful video. I passed the CISSP today and part of that was having the right mindset thanks to this video. Thanks for passing your great insights!
Hi Kelly not sure you follow on the comments, just wanted to THANK YOU for this video - provisional passed today at 125, I kept your 'endgame' and risk management decisions on my mind during the whole test.
I watched this video twice yesterday, and this morning before my CISSP exam. You not only calmed my nerves, but I am 100% certain I passed (115 questions in) because of your advice! I would have failed without this mindset. Thank you so much! More video's please :)
Passed my exam 2 days ago. Listened to this throughout my prep and on exam day on my way to the testing center. This definitely halped me to get through the exam sucessfully. At many times during the exam, I had to remember these tips and they helped me to make better decisions. As a technical person, this advice is gold! Thank you Kelly!
Like many others here, I too provisionally passed my exam. Listening to your video a day before the exam gave me a new perspective on how to approach it. So thank you for sharing this. 🙏😊
Passed my exam today and watched your video here multiple times (as well as on Cybrary) and imagine it played a role in thinking like a risk advisor, not doing and looking at the end game. Thank you!!
I took my exam on Friday and I was seriously stressed out going into it. A friend recommend I watch this video and it seriously helped settle my nerves and reminded me of some key points. I'm happy to say that I passed my exam on my first try and I'm so incredibly grateful for this video being exactly what I needed to hear.
Thank you Kelly.. your mindset video has helped me a lot in clearing exam at 100q. I listened this while driving on repeat and made sure in mind the process correct is more important than solution. It worked for me.
I just passed my exam. I watched this prior to entering the exam center. This video is spot on, listen to the advice. I got the the point where I was consistently scoring about 80% on many different practice tests (Boson, Cybrary, Official study guide 2e and the bonus exams from the 8e official study guide) with unseen questions, while not representative of the actual exam they verified I had about 80% of the concepts correct, the rest was about applying the concepts in the video.
I watched this video yesterday and today before my test and I would certainly attribute me provisionally passing at 150 qns with this video. She is absolutely spot on in terms of her analysis of the mindset needed for the exam.
Hi Kelly, I passed the CISSP exam on my first attempt! This video was the final preperation i needed in the morning before the exam. Thank you so much! 🤩🤩🙏🙏
Thank you Kelly. I watched this video 5 times In a row before my exam and I have provisionally passed on my first attempt. Thank you so much for the words of wisdom. As a former system admin, your advice was spot on and exactly the mindset I needed going into this exam. I am forever appreciative.
Dear Kelly, I just passed my CISSP exam today with 100 questions in less than 90 minutes. Your coaching and guidance was pivotal to passing the certification. I got up this morning at 6am and watched the video as the last thing before I went to the exam once again. That mindset obviously helped me to get the right choice, if I could nail the potential answer down to 2 relevant candidates. Also I was stuck in my learning efforts in the official study guide and the videos available at Cybrary helped me to stay on track and to better understand, where to put focus and where not. To all CISSP wanna-bees: I was using the official study guide in combination with the Cybrary CISSP videos, which I found were an excellent source of learning. I also heavily used the Wiley test banks Study Guide questions and the CISSP practice tests. Few days before the exam I switched to the CCCure question, as I started to get too familiar with the Wiley test bank practice test. Those CCCure question are very hard in the Pro-Level and drained my confidence level, but the semantic of the questions is very similar to what you can expect in the exam. On top I used the 11th hour CISSP Eric Conrad book, as a condensed form during the last 2-3 weeks prior to the exam. All the best for your learning and certification effort!
I would like to acknowledge the training provided by Kelly for my CISSP..Thought process is spot on..Would recommend for your CISSP journey.. No vested interests in outcome for security professional..
Just passed my CISSP at 100 questions. Really really chuffed 🙌🏻 🥳 I found Kelly’s course on Cybrary really helpful for understanding a lot of the difficult CISSP models and ideas. Many thanks 🙏🏻
@@jayjaykayode The Cybrary questions and the Boson questions are really good. There are loads and the explanations help improve your understanding. Pete Zerger has a great channel on RU-vid as well with some really nice free materials. Good luck on the test!
Took my test and passed today... watched your video a couple of times and I appreciate your guidance and advice. I did my studying and paid my dues. But on more than a few question I thought of our advice... "you are not a doer and eliminated the hack the registry" type answers. Thanks
Passed the exam yesterday- I watched this right before going in. This was actually very helpful. The test did have some very technical questions. You just have to eval yea h question.
