In "The Autumn Ballad" 2021 with Actress FL Qiao Xin; they were both excellent; but we/I have not seen Qiao Xin in any Productions since!! ... She is a Good Actress and Screen-writer too??

This Actor deserves the best. There has been many times that I've seen his Incredible acting & how much they seem to downplay his talent. I don't blame him for backing away... if he can't be appreciated and take into consideration his wishes as the Actor... then they don't deserve him to remain. I've always admired watching him, and it will be our loss seeing him retire, if he wishes... However, his reason are understandable and I support his feelings of doing what he must to protect himself ... financially, physically & emotionally. He deserves that!!!! The reasons mentioned for him to stop working for that ridiculous company are SOLID STRONG REASONS.... PERIOD!!!
Thank you for saying perfectly what I also think and feel. Xu Zhengzi is one of the most talented and gorgeous actor in Chinese drama land. But his agency obliged him to perform in more and more low budget and superficial, unknowable and commercial production. It is unbereable for a good actor as he is!
What a shame for the entertainment industry to lose such a fine actor!!! I have always wondered why Jeremy is not getting the kind of roles he deserves. I hated what they did to him in Chongzi😢.. For his talent and looks he should have easily been at the top. His management agency did him dirty?!! Very sad indeed.. It's not easy for someone who has been in the field for 16years+ to make such decisions. He must have endured it for long.. It is indeed heartbreaking but completely understandable. Good that he is standing up for himself and his principles! Respect!! Of course if he chooses to return to acting in future, his millions of fans all over the world will be delighted!! I know , I’m gonna miss him so much too 😢 He has been one of my favorite actor since Return the World. I have watched pretty much all his dramas even when he was playing the villain in Legend of Dugu he was still captivating 😊 I’m still watching Burning flames, even though he only has guest role but he is so good in it too. It’s a shame they pushed him to point of quitting and hating the industry! I hope he will open his own mgmt company like Vin Zhang did 😊

Jeremy is a talented actor he is good-looking and has one of the greatest voices among Chinese actors. He deserves roles that showcase his abilities. And most definitely better female leads. He must have suffered to be cast in the same type of role just to launch the career of some of those actresses. I hope that this is just a move out of his current agency and that just like Vin Zhang or Zheng YeChen, he will have his own studio and keep gracing our screens. ❤
I think for him he’s doing the right move. I hope a better management company goes after him vigorously. He’s a really good actor and I’ve had the same thoughts about his series. I’m watching his series because I wanted to support his acting, yet thought he deserved much better roles. When management undermines you they aren’t your best option. Actors work hard, with little say and to undermine a role he wanted was cruel & such betrayal unacceptable on any level.

Wow. I hope we all can take a minute and appreciate a true man standing for himself, for what he believes in. I watched practically all his projects and he is a rear real talent. Whatever he decides to do, I personally will definitely support, as long as he is happy and has no need to pressure himself into the activities he doesn't like. He will be missed greatly❤.

When I first started watching asian dramas he was in the third drama I watched totally was taken back by how incredibly handsome he was I'm glad that I have watched alot of his dramas will watch more if I can find them good luck in all that he does and yes it's too bad that they didn't let him show his true potential he is on of the best actors I have seen in asian drama
A man/ woman, who has talent to entertain the public and is recognized for such and is not allowed nor heard to put input/ suggestions by them, which starts to diminish the actors enthusiasm and self worth…it’s like any other job that you work at, if you are doing a good job and are not recognized for your hard work and input……you move on…at least the gentleman has foresight and know’s his worth
The first Chinese drama I saw was Novoland Castle In the Sky II. I was very impressed with Xu Zheng Xi. Autumn Ballad is another favorite. He was fun in Be My Princess and I really enjoyed his role in Fairyland Lovers. He has great comedic timing, and he has a magnificent voice. I sincerely wish him the very best in his career and life path. He is so talented and he is an inspiring presence.
I love watching all his movies...his eyes and facial expression when he is acting is superb same with martial arts scenes that he does It's a loss if he will leave the acting so early. Hope he will return and be with a good company where he can be more sucessful.
It takes decisiveness to take such a step, I do understand where it came from since I have been wondering for some time now why I keep seeing him in dramas with story and production beneath his worth and skills. how very sad .. this established actor should have been shown a lot more respect by the industry and agents … i don’t blame him ..he certainly should have been given better roles .. the lower budget and poor acting co stars would have had quite an impact on his acting style as well as his fans …. take a break chill out come back when the industry deserves you and an agency that respects you .,

One of my favorites with him in it is The Autumn Ballad!!! Not a big role or big production but his character suited him so well. Him playing one fantasy Immortal or fantasy person over and over is pigeon holing him into those parts. I like some of the times he played those parts like Novoland 2 but also like to see him in costume Dramas like The Autumn Ballad too.
It's sad to see him go, but respect his decision. I've enjoyed his work and hope that in the future, he can find another agency to work with, that will share his vision for future projects. Such talent such not be wasted.

Do so hope he finds his way back to acting. He’s a fine actor and deserves better treatment than he has been getting. I would watch a drama just because he’s in it! He certainly has one of the best speaking voices of any Asian actor.
He is my favorite Chinese actor. I’ve been so surprised I haven’t seen him in more roles. While it’s unfortunate, it makes sense why he’s leaving the industry.

We truly hope he will return as soon as possible to Acting in (especially period-/costume-) dramas, etc. but we totally support his decision as his talent was being limited and was ill treated.
Jeremy is my favourite Chinese actor. He's so gorgeous in movie romances. Maybe some of his roles weren't satisfactory to him but he certainly didn't put in inferior acting in them. To me he's brilliant and being an 'older' actor makes him more credible as well as 'sexy'. His leaving will be a huge loss to the industry. I hope he can come back if and when he finds conditions that suit him.
Whatever decision he makes, I support him. If that is the way to get out of the contract he has and not let him grow. It is a loss for the industry. He needs different roles and chances to grow. I will miss him and hope to see him in another drama. When he comes back. ❤❤❤❤
If he is unhappy with his managers and he is not getting the kind of scripts that are worthy of his talents, then it is best that they part ways. Later, if he can find a better management team or perhaps find a better work life balance this would be a good decision for him. At least he will have more freedom in his personal life as well. I wish him well.

He has that straight faced comedic talent, I liked watching him because he is good looking but at the same time never takes himself too seriously, there is a sense of fun and wholesomeness to him. His agency clearly never saw his true superpower, which is rather stupid of them. They're an agency that have lost their way.
After the death of a beloved actor Godfrey Gao due to overworking.... i fully support any actor, actress and idol who decides to take a break or walk away entirely. Being stressed and overworked for someone or company should not take priority over ones health. Good for him... he knows what's best for him and all the best.
