@@NerdExplains I think that only way I would survive would be wearing very thick clothes and gloves that cover my entire body. I would probably wear multiple layers of clothes like winter coats. Enough for me to move, but enough that no single bite would tear through the fabric. I would probably have to gets extra cloth within the train by looting bags or stripping cloth off someone.
The fact that these zombies can sprint after you makes surviving zombie apocalypses ten times more difficult, compared to those slow walking zombies in other movies.

If you take a step back and look at the people's initial reactions, it's actually pretty much spot on. With how much we all know about the "zombie" archetype and how utterly ridiculous the proposition of this actual happening to any extent, would you really immediately jump to "oh shit, it's a zombie" sitting on a train/subway? The two most common reactions you'll see when someone is startled (regardless of how serious/intense the thing startling you is) are freezing with a little jump/yell and a 180° turn and hoof it. Very few have the instant reaction to fight due to the consequences our "social order" has adopted. I think if a chick "acting like a zombie" just hopped on a train, most people would likely just look away. If said chick jumped on the back of someone attacking them with blood going everywhere, most people would just freeze in their seat and try to process what they're seeing before they do anything. Those are totally normal reactions. I think we get jaded about how people seem to react in these films because we implicitly understand that we're seeing a zombie attack rather than a regular act of violence (albeit extreme violence, but still.) When you see the videos of someone just beating the living shit out of someone in public, how many people jump in? How many join the fight? How many run away screaming? A few, sometimes. But how many people do we see just sit there and either watch, dumbfounded, or try and ignore it? The bystander effect is very, very real. And it's cost a lot of good people their lives.
I can verify this is correct. The same thing happens during mass shootings. A shooting happened where I work and everyone just acted like nothing was happening. It just so happened I knew the difference between gunshots and random loud bangs and I'm enough of a non-conformist person to not give a fuck about leaving my job. While everyone was just acting like nothing was happening I announced to my coworkers, "Those are gunshots, I'm leaving out the back exit and highly suggest all of you do the same". We turned out not to be in danger as the guy was fleeing the building, shooting at a pursuer but it showed to me just how complacent people are. They just ignored the shooting, because they're on fucking autopilot and it took someone like me to leave. I have no doubts in a rigid and MORE autopilot like society such as South Korea and Japan they'd just keep staring off ignoring what is going on.
You are incorrect, most people are on guard when in public & people might not realize that someone is a zombie but everyone knows what rabies is & there has recently been a huge pandemic.
Bro that homeless guy is honestly my favourite background character in any movie, he didn’t know any of those people yet he still gave his life to protect that pregnant woman and little girl what an absolute beast,
In all fairness, the infected in this movie look like they're having a seizure when turning. So it makes that the train attendant tried to help that first woman. She probably assumed it to be a seizure. That's what I would've thought and I would've died, but at least I died trying to help someone.

Yes I cried when “someone died in the end” but I cried even more when that persons daughter sang. During the movie she wouldn’t sing because her dad didn’t come see her play. So I saw it as her dedicating that final song to him after his death.
I'm basically blind without my glasses, so if a zombie bites me, I can just use the "I didn't see it so it didn't happen" trick and stay alive. Clearly, totally logical, obviously.
cody morris it’s a thing called genre blindness. It happens in more than just zombie movies, too. A horror movie character wouldn’t know not to go into the woods because it’s something that has never happened in their world before. Similarly, a character in a zombie apocalypse movie doesn’t know about zombies because that narrative doesn’t exist in their world. A parallel example would be some weird animal we’ve never heard of showing up, and the people in other worlds being like, “they don’t know about that?” It’s because it doesn’t exist in our world. Also the reason why zombie movies never outright call the zombies “zombies”-they’re called “Walkers” or something similar. Because the concept of zombies and the word “zombie” doesn’t exist in their world, they have to come up with something else.
One the biggest things that stuck out to me was how the group willingly left the safe train car when they got “voted” out. This is life or death & you’re just gonna leave the safest area available cuz some strangers who r in the same position told u they didn’t want u there.
Eastern culture, particular Asian are like that. They have a more we or us mindset instead of individualsstic like out here in the west So because of the mindset and cultural values the scene makes sense from a logic and Eastern values standpoint.
It was for the best. Not only because of the zombies getting in, but also since they had no idea if the mob would turn violent, which isn't good, especially for a child and a pregnant woman.
Or they just cant believe its happening. If someone is convulging in front of you, you dont just run away screaming "ZOMBIES" cuz for all you know, you just left a seizure victim lying there.

Theres a great webcomic called "Were all dead" that is in a highschool. It goes through all the tropes seamlessly and is really good, like the kids are super smart. If you love this kind of thing, I really recommend it because its not tainted by the viewer's/ reader's frustration like so many other stories.

The guy is always a tough character in all his movies. Often he’d tear entire gang apart with bare hands. One time he was the mafia boss and sent all his henchmen after a serial killer. After he found him hiding in a restroom, he knocked the serial killer out with a punch through a wooden door. In another movie he was an arm wrestling champion.

A lot of people say this but humans entering shock is less likely then just running away. Adrenaline literally is for situations where you need to run from something that is hunting you. The only time you would ever stand there still paralysed with fear is if you have low blood pressure. You don’t see antelope standing still when a lion chases them do you.
Also one more thing is that people can still run when struck with emotional shock. So don’t worry boys as long as we don’t have low blood pressure you should be sprinting outta there

I only disagree with the "you deserve to be zombified" part, I thinks it's pretty realistic that people don't instantly panic when they see someone acting weird. Like, if you're in a train and you see someone convulsing on the floor, you're not gonna immediatly assume they're a zombie, you'll probably think they have epilepsy or something.
When blue jacket man told his wife what he wanted to name their daughter, I just melted. Not to mention the daughter screaming as her dad jumps off the train and then sings her song as they walk through the tunnel. It was just tragic.
Seok-Woo (Main protagnist) works for an insurance/loan ish type of company. And HE funded that company where the outbreak started. That's why he suddenly wanted to sell everything so it could not be linked to him. And the reason the woman who slipped onboard took a little while to turn is because she was bitten in the foot/leg and binded it off seriously cutting of blood flow, but it was too late. And as you saw the higher you get bit, the quicker you turn (That's why the zombies often go for the neck/head) In Seok-Woo's phone almost everyone is called : Lemming as a contact, clearly seeing himself better then the other "plebs" Etc..... Also, the reason they did not really help the woman who is walking and becoming a zombie is because of the Korean : Mind your/mine own business attitude.
The most depressing part was.. Everyone was getting out of the train when there was no security. I would have stuck on the train for the rest of my life just to not get zombified. I would rather die without food or water than become a zoombie...
@@matthewguard7104 That’s only in twd and other movies/shows where it’s airborne and in this case as far as we know this virus specifically isn’t airborne so no you wouldn’t turn if you died from other causes.
I would maybe rather turn in to a zombie than die of thirst or hunger because the zombies may only bite you for a small time but dying of hunger or thirst is a long drawn out death wich would probably make me go crazy.
The end of this one actually made me really sad when I saw it the first time. He worked so hard to save her and all he gets is a twilight memory as he turns into a rabid walking corpse.

That buff guy in the blue jacket along with the homeless man are my favorite characters, the homeless man sacrificed himself, the buff blue jacket guy is big, strong, quick, and tough! He fought off 6 zombies and won, i cried when he died, he is now becoming more popular and even got to hold hands with Angelina Jolie, he is famous in South Korea and becoming famous outside SK, mad respect to Don Lee.

That is...Logical actually- seeing how there so many zombies and they freaking run fast, the a hole guy is the most logical person, asking questions when people were getting off trains when no one (even the millatery) was around the station, assuming they got infected when they went out to save the others is also a logical move since they didnt equip themselves very good(seriously, the blue jacket guy literally could get a cut on his fist and get infected) and there were blood on them

I’ll never forget seeing the people come off the train seeing the station deserted then all of a sudden as they go down the escalator and see an entire horde of military infected running towards you It’s one of those moments where I truly just didn’t know what to think, how could anyone even get out of that situation…Luck more than anything.
I'm extremely paranoid about zombie apocalypses, last week someone passed out on the tram i was like nope not today i got off the tramway before anything happened ,turned out he was diabetic but better safe than sorry

Some people forget how in most ''zombie movie'' universes, the idea of zombies actually don't exist and for them seeing a person covered in bite marks, is just a person who suffered an attack from either dogs, or a weirdo. Even when they see what for us is ''clearely a zombie'' for them it's just a person acting weird/crazy, they don't know what that person will do or if they get bitten by someone who looks like that they'll get infected, usually that's common knowledge when the world has already gone to shit.

they should make a movie where the main protagonists and their sidekick(s) have watched zombie movies before and then they see a zombie and know what to do but the difference is that the real life zombie and the movie zombie are different in many ways. (for example let’s say the zombie movie they watched had the zombies be rlly sensitive to sounds n they had somewhat intelligence) however the zombie they are encountering in real life can run hella fast, but are blind. so you could past by them or let’s say crouch while a hoard of them come running but bc they can’t see you, you’re fine) that would be so cool to watch ngl
i think it’s generally assumed that in most zombie movies, zombie movies do not exist. MOST, though. in Shaun of the Dead they refused to use the ‘zed word’ because ‘it’s ridiculous’

Pet vets are the ones that will survive a zombie apocalypse. They're trained to avoid animal bites, trained to be alert at all times and also they're most likely to give the bitten victims antiserums if it works (to cure rabies and such if the zombies are similar to animals). Pet vets are also less likely to be afraid towards growls, bites and claws. P.s. sorry English isn't my 1st language, mind my grammar and word phrasing

You are past the weird hormones of the first trimester, but aren’t gigantic yet as the baby grows quickly in the third trimester. You are close to being a normal young adult and move fairly normally.

I would take any chance of killing myself instantly without pain, i cant live in a apocalypse. The life of an apocalypse is depressing and dangerous/scary.

It’s a matter of luck surviving the initial onslaught, mainly where you are when you find out about it. If you survive that then it’s a matter of making extremely tough decisions
That song killed me, it really tied the movie together and it made my mom cry lol she cries at everything in sad movies. But it really did make me feel super sad but it was hella necessary and surely made the movie 10× better. I went into the movie thinking it was just gonna be a normal zombie movie where everyone dies and you dont connect with any of the characters but it was the opposite and it fucked me up lmao

the zombies here are more dangerous than the walking dead zombies. running zombies are my worst nightmare. if a zombie apocalypse will come, i hope its the slow zombies like in the walking dead.
well if we look at it accurately, zombies are just kinda reactivated corpses, which means they are just average humans with their intelligence down the drain. So they can move like a normal human, but more sporadic, so fast, but in short bursts
@@immortal_shrooms6757 scientifically speaking, even if zombies could run, so long as they cannot regenerate their cells and muscle. sooner or later they will slow down or cease to function. because of decomposition. so in order of us to survive a zombie outbreak. we just need to wait at least a month. until all the zombies body are decomposed. in the end, germs are our friend haha.
That man was a champ he was fiat fighting zombies, saving everyone else, holding doors shut so everyone had time to do the things they needed to do, just overall he was the best character in the movie and he deserved to live
The zombies of this universe, at full speed, can't keep up with a fund manager and a guy who almost certainly always skips leg day. Most of us could outrun them and they can't see anything in the dark, meaning you actually have a greater advantage than you would in most other zombie universes. This is also localized to Korea as far as we can tell, so I'm safe since I'm not in Korea. I'm also always carrying a pocket knife, so a zombie being latched to a woman just makes it an easy target. I'd have the first few zombies murdered well before an outbreak could happen in my building or on a train I'm riding.
