To be honest It wouldn't go outside the continent it originates from. If it originates in the Americas, even if the spread becomes amazingly big, since people would see what happens at some point it wouldn't travel by air or sea. We got it to kill all animal life... now what? it starves. This leaves only plants to fill the ecological niches, that and everything the splinters did not prey on. The whole evolution cycle might restart from plankton, amoeba and stuff. Option B: The splinters kill off themselves. Based on erroneous behaviors and lack of protections, the splinters stack on road, metal, and others hot surfaces during the day (assuming it is in a warmer climate.) The infection area stays small and you end with a black burnt goo made of dead splinters and their waste(self poisoning) Option C: Ecological equilibrium is achieved, with the splinters naturally able to stay alive while not wiping everything at once. The goo could migrate involuntary, destroying ecological niches that would be reset upon the splinters completely leaving a given area. Just my theorycraft of how things would pan out.

@@ErinJeanette This are the worst zombies I think. And I watched a lot of zombie movies, probably 90% of a existing ones. And I should have a experience about this. But I think there is a way a man could survive these zombies. Underground bunker, nuclear bombs, tanks, submarines and air force are the best weapon against this. But chances are big that this would be a end of the world, becouse this can destroy every living creature and nature, but Antarctica would be a safe place I believe.

Would depend on the type of alcohol sold. Most isn't flammable unless it is very strong. I think like 151-proof or 75% alcohol content. Otherwise the water/not alcohol components prevent it from actually being flammable. Rubbing alcohol is definitely flammable, and I have seen some gas stations which sell it. Just very rare to see alcohol stronger than around 16% ABV sold at gas stations.

Alcoholic drinks don't have enough alcohol to burn like that. Even strong liquors like vodka and whiskey are only 40% alcohol and 60% water.

@@xorphana Unless they could distill alcohol with stuff in fuel stations. Maybe some sell pots, radiator hoses, tools... Almost everyone I've been in sells grill charcoal, so heat is done and water can be a coolant.

You can't actually make a Molotov Cocktail with drinking alcohol. You have to use gasoline to make an effective petrol bomb.

Only 6.5? With the surprisingly good acting, tight and tense story, impressively smart decisions, brutal and gnarly effects, and unique but interesting take on zombies, this movie is at the very *least* an 8/10.

@@MaryRoeRussel The acting was good, just good though. The premise is great but the finished product doesn't explore it enough for my liking. Like I said, it seems like a short film worth of content drawn out to 80 minutes. The effects are quite good, though I don't personally find the contortionist/parkour zombie very interesting or realistic. I have to strongly disagree with the point about decision making of the characters. Stopping for the girl. Getting so close to infection with 0 PPE and he's supposed to be a biology student. Trying to light a bright green forest on fire at a gas station with lighter fluid. The criminal trying to save his clearly deceased and mangled gf. Decreasing his body temp to 90°f while a decent enough idea, would've actually killed him faster. A freezing person continues to get colder for a while even when trying to warm up, "after drop" it's called. Your extremities would get warmer while your core gets colder potentially causing circulatory collapse. All that being said, I think 6.5 is extremely fair for a low budget film.
