It was really really bad. After effects always could not analyze perfectly and showed error. I even stopped using camera tracking for a while. But yeah this video really helped and now I can peacefully enjoy doing it. Thanks😃😃😃😃
Two more tips: 1-Use unsharp mask to bring up some extra detail, precompose and track that. 2-If there is something moving that compromises the overall track, just mask it out, precompose and track.
Hi Cinecom, I'm very like VFX video you maked. You can explain about Zhu Tie Xiong's (朱铁雄) douyin videos? It's so crazy. I'm still don't understand it. Thanks so much!
In my experience, Blender lets me track everything much more quickly than After Effects. It also lets me work in a 3D space so I pretty much abandoned AE for compositing, now using it for motion graphics and the nostalgia
The alternative method is to film everything in higher FPS then slow the footage down so the tracking can keep up you could use high speed camera but I think only more FPS & slowing video down should work too
Hey guys, great tips, but I have a very different problem. Whenever I try to camera track, the 3D tracker points appear but they don’t move at all with the footage, then when I click on a tracking point it says no depth from a tripod pan solve, which is weird as it says that even when I’m not using the tripod solve method. Help?
Something I've discovered with compressed 4K footage, especially from older DJI drones, is that a track might solve better when precomping the footage to 1080p (if your delivery is 1080p, that is). The full resolution can sometimes serve the tracker a lot of mushy pixels instead of actual detail and contrast points to grab on to. So downsampling it gives the tracker much sharper and cleaner images to work with.
Why ? Look at the software you're using man, you'll have the basic answer 🤣 Use dedicated ones (PFT, 3DE.) or Mocha Pro, Fusion or both... Playing with toys ends with to funny results isn't it ? 😉
6:27 - Next week we'll show you 7 tips to fix your autofocus 😜 Lol no but seriously, these are handy tips, I always struggle with this. Sometimes it feels like I tracked it perfectly but after a few seconds my objects start drifting. I also learned from vidocopilot how to normalize your 3D scene. I didn't know that there was a script for that, superhandy!
You all would be embarrassed for me if you knew how many time I gave up on cam tracking and just did it by hand. In fact, I'm doing it right now because nothing ever helps. Appreciate the tut though.
1:52 guys i don't know how they put these objects right on the head and it also moving with hear, i think that's 3d camera tracking, but i have some issues in 3d camera tracking like it doesn't analyse the character's face so i CAN'T make something like that, any thoughts? I need help really.
I was filming inside the car with my M50 cannon, and did the 3D tracker and it always fail. I guess because I was moving the cam from front hood of the car and back to the driver. I tried several times and even cut the sequence, still fails haha.
i dunno what im doing wrong.... it worked for me a couple times but now not. As soon as I change the plane of the solid or the object (like stand it up to look like a doorway) the tracking doesn't work right and the object doesn't stay in place. wtf?
Hey guys, im having a lot of trouble with the 3D camera tracking, I make the tracking but the points do not follow the movement of the camera, and if I add the solid it does not do the movement either, I ask for a college to do it with the same video in their computer and it works perfect, also the program shows them a lot more tracking points than me, we are doing the same thing but it is not working! im going crazy not sure whats going on, can anyone please help me?
One problem I struggle alot with, When my footage is on external ssd .. track always fails .. once i move to into the desktop or any location on my internal drive .. it workd😅
Hy guys your tip is awesome as always but plz any one tell me u select solid and origin than is that same point solid and camera is it right what I understand
