I love this video! You’re so sweet & kind! Just to share a bit: When starting my business I was all in, but after a few months I couldn’t pay my bills, so instead of giving up on my business, I decided to change my hours so that I could work full time in the day & take clients in the evenings. When my clientele is large enough to be my only income, I can pick up where I left off. I made peace with the fact that my journey will look different than someone else’s, but as long as I know & believe I have what it takes to succeed, I can & will!

Im a month away from opening my solo studio and I’m so excited but so nervous. You inspired me to jump in! I’ve been a pro makeup artist for 9 years and when I started that journey I had just finished Esthetician school. So that means I’ve had my license for 9 years! A couple months ago I told myself I’d find my path. I binged on your videos and now I’ve been taking clients at home. Im 40 and never thought I’d be doing what I’m doing right now. Thank you for inspiring us ❤️

Thank you for the reminder. I really needed to hear this again. I received my license as an Esthetician in 2020 I didn't do much with it since I didn't feel essential. Having my license made me feel like I wasted my studying in the beauty industry. But after seeing everyone continuing, pandemic or not made me realize we can accomplish what we want with anything we do. Taking accountability and responsibility for myself came with a slap in the face lol a much needed humble me kind of moment. Yesterday I was hired to be an Esthetician instructor!! I've been thinking of wanting to do this since I was in school. I'm so excited to start. I have no idea what I'm doing lol but the journey will be amazing.

Thank you for this information! You always make my day. Today was a rough day. As I had to move into a smaller room and leave my solo esthetician room to join a salon. Listening to you today made me realize I can’t focus on those negative feelings but look in the positive way. I will get booked up, I will get known, I will achieve my Esthetician goals. I got licensed in June and immediately jumped into being a solo Esthetician a couple of weeks later… so making the decision of joining a salon was rough because I so wanted to be a solo Esthetician, but I also needed to get known…

Thank you for making this video it has been quite a bumpy year already and this video speaks to me!! I’ve been feeling extremely in the middle with my business because I just graduated esthetician school and received my temporary license, and have been slowly transitioning myself to the thought that yes I am in the process of being licensed and yes I am educated or experienced enough to do a facial lol. My thought process and my health has definitely slowed my business down but now that I am taking action about my health and making slow thought changes and talking more about my experience with potential clients, i am starting to see a change in my pace/motivation to want to do more. I really appreciate this video because it validates that I am on the right track, I consistently watch your videos and always learn so much!

Absolutely love you & everything that you are! I’ve been watching your channel for so long now… (before I went to esthetics school, during, and now that I’m a licensed esthetician) you’ve helped me in soooo many ways. You gave me the encouragement to chase my dream and actually go to school… and now that I’m out and working for a spa, your tips and advice has really helped me. Again with the video that gets me in the feels, been definitely in this mode and have been constantly trying to be better with my self talk and mindset shift to allow better opportunities to flow my way and to not get my own way. I can’t wait to leave my current job and work for myself or at least at another place with similar value made as mine. This (amongst other things) has been on the forefront of my mind. Thank you 🙏🏽 for this video and sharing as you do. It’s been very encouraging and enriching to my life and journey and feels nice to not feel so alone in it. Funny analogy I just thought of right now as I was about to park my car lol I noticed a parking spot that had a bunch of bird poop marks on the ground. Instead I parked in a spot across that didn’t.. seems like an obvious choice right? Because I don’t want my clean car to get pooped on lol so my question is, why would you put yourself in the path of people who you know are gonna poop on you? 😂 I’m cracking up typing this but I’m dead serious too lol obviously you work with them so contact isn’t 100% avoidable but talk to them when it’s work related and that’s IT. Don’t discuss your plans or purpose. Just simply show them your professionalism and your good character. By keeping your distance but being a good worker, a woman of your word, and kind, they can’t say anything negative. Then when the day comes that you leave, you leave with integrity and a good reputation. Cuz I will tell u rn, it’s a small world. And you could get a client from someone who knows someone you worked with. So keep that in mind! I hope it helps!
