Why your CBR125 quits running at idle when hot. I couldn’t find a video on RU-vid talking about this when I was trying to figure out why my bike kept quitting at stop signs, so here my video with the answer.
Wow you just described my exact issue, 2004 r1, started riding it once I got it up and running, when I got to stop lights and signs it would bomb down to like 1k rpm and if I didn’t rev it to keep it alive it would stall out, seems like only when it’s hot, only stalled when idling and rode fine when throttled , I’m going to change spark plugs and update on if it worked or not
Hi, I have the same problem on my KTM 125 duke. I'm going to do what you said and I'll leave another comment about the result. Appreciate for the video buddy. 👍
thanks for the advice I've been having the exact same problem, gonna buy a new spark plug and check the compression hopefully that fixes it or I might need a new spark plug cable if it got damaged, will update :)
My CBR 125R also had suddenly an issue and the engine stopped sometimes when i stopped the bike. I found out it was the spark plug, i could hear the spark when it was idling and I kneeled besides to look if the oil drain plug was tight. In my dark garage I also could see it then. So I installed a new spark plug and it doesn't stall any more. Problem now: The NGK plug's rubber seal doesn't fit perfectly, maybe ignition issues will occur when it's raining.
Thanks for the vid but it wasn't the issue in my case. I've changed coil, sparkplug, stator, and adjusted the carb float. Still turns off after warming up. If anyone has another idea, please let me know.
Hey mate, just a question. My bike, cbr 600 rr 2004, is lately stalling in neutral at stops even clutched in and also while riding will lose power for a second or two or will jerk forward sometimes as I deccelerate. Do you have any idea what the issue might be? Thanks
I had a this problem last year and it was caused by the spark plug wire being broken loose from the ignition coil and would sometimes lose connection completely.
@@tilemahosberetis4417 No, i managed to solder the wire back and then reinforced it with some epoxy putty. Not sure how long it will last though and i may have to buy a new ignition coil later.
i am with brand new spark plugs. My motorcycle is Honda cbr 600 rr 2007 and i can't find a solution. Revs are good at the beggining of riding, when got hot my rpm go ot 1k and die.. What to do , please help :)
You ever fix it? My 2003 CBR600RR is rough and dieing when it warms up. Starts right up when cold. Cold start circuit stuck on or such maybe? We've changed the fuel pump and looked for things caught in the air box. Nothing helped so far.
