Our dog is a rescue… A month after we got him he found he had heart worms… By the next month he was started on antibiotics for 2 months, Chest X-ray showed fluid and inflammation in his lungs… Been on Lasix and Predinose more on than off for 10 months… He has lung damage.. Had the 3 heart worm injections… Prednisone just sends him into a whirl wind… Can’t relax.. So many good suggestions.. He has gotten to the point he is panting and anxious all the time…

You have a very calming voice, Dr Jones, which goes a long way to keeping a dog from being anxious! Dog's can sense when we are upset - and they get anxious, too. Dogs can hear, smell, see, taste and feel waaaaay more than humans, so we may not be aware of what they are reacting. Thanks so much for your informative vids.

I have a pug and pugs have a history of having trouble breathing so I get kind of scared when she pants

My dog Bigfoot sometimes pant when he gets nervous and I always really quickly try to take care of the situation immediately. Since he got old he can't handle drama at all. He is 12 and has severe arthritis.. thanks so much for the video my friend..

Tiger Balm works on people for an "ouchie" or tweak or twist, or sprain, have you used it for dogs? Love the Dandelion 2 times a day idea. Love herbs over Rx all the time! Always in anxiety, I use the Bach Rescue Remedy cream on the ears and rub them and or add the Bach Remedy [alcohol free] drops in their water. I am unsure how or why it works, so maybe one day you can explain it to us. All I know is it works and keeps the dogs calm. Love the humidifier idea. I will start using that right away. Thank you for the tips!

Thanks doc..i have japanese spitz and they loved to run in the beach..and ya they pant a lot..its hot here in the philipines..and that might be one of the factor ..but thanks for the tips..

Do appreciate your advice and suggestions. Very helpful. My dog is 17 1/2 years old, lab mix and has had some health challenges only in the last 6 months. Latest is the continuous panting. I will give the natural remedies a try. Thank you Dr. Jones!!
