Quick break question, I have a new travel trailer, when I pulled it home three weeks ago brakes worked just fine. Hooked it up today all my lights, brake lights, blinkers, running lights, everything works but cannot get anything to work on the brakes. Check the fuse in my truck, have a towing package on my truck. Even when I pull the safety pin on the travel trailer I get nothing. Any help would be greatly appreciate it thanks
@@bobbyrebussini1466 mine were making a light friction like noise then went away after about a quarter mile. My ground wire on my main plug to truck I took apart today and seen the ground looked like the Statue of Liberty inside.. my truck recognized the trailer if I use a test light on the ground to the batter but when I remove the test light it says trailer fault wire and no trailer connected.
Having the same issues. I’m trying to figure out if this is a truck or trailer issue. Pulled the safety pin and got nothing from my trailer brakes. 2011 Chevy 2500hd. I connected a 7 pin tester and got nothing when I used the on board brake controller.
I have a question? My trailer has electric breaks. I used the trailer took it home work just fine. Went to hook up to it a few weeks later. Brakes locked up won't move and service trailer break light comes on the dash. Since i can't move it I haven't been able to find anyone willing to come fix it. And have no clue where to start.
Hey Bobby...I have one electric brake that goes forward w/ no problem, but when I go in reverse without even hitting the truck brake, the trailer tire drags (locks up). How do I fix that?
NEVER EVER buy a "cheap" trailer. Buy from a. Reputable brand... I've had my 18ft enclosed trailer from a certain company for almost 20 years now and never a single issue until now.
