It's like an infinite loop. Asking for layers and getting your hair cut too short then waiting it to grow out until you realize it isn't layered properly so you go again and repeat the same thing.

A hairstylist did this cut for me before pandemic. Unfortunately, I didn't ask for his name and how he did it. This layered bangs looks good on my wavy short/medium hair while wearing it down, but since I'm not a haircut expert and couldn't explain it, all I did was to ask for a shaggy bangs and show pictures. And most of hairstylists used blending shears to kinda layer my bangs. It made my top hair thicker, too much volume. Now, I wonder if they were just being lazy to layer every section of my bangs or didn't know how cut it. I can't wait for my hair to grow out to ask for this 🤧
