Hey! So a neighbor was unfortunately evicted & there things were thrown away. Thankfully I rescued their plants. They had this Peace Lily outdoors, in the same pot as an outdoor flower. Got them seperated & her into her own pot. She is completely fallen over. Any suggestions? Thanks! 😊
Because it’s not the water that suffocates the plants it’s the lack of oxygen due to soil. That’s why you want to put your plants in well draining mixes (with orchid bark and perlite), to allow the soil to dry faster and allow mini air pockets to oxygenate the roots. When you grow plants in water, as long as you oxygenate the water regularly (top up the water or change it entirely) it’s fine because water contains O2.
