THANK YOU @@CrocFIX when I charge my oppo it will not work but dad test it out of his power bank to see if it's broken but is not broken it was the dirt on my phones but So I WANT THE TOOTHPICKKKKKK
Another reason for the phone not charging is battery swelling that blocks the charging cable. In such cases, using tools or tweezers poses a risk of stabbing the battery. So I think it's important to double-check that there is no swelling of the battery and there's actually visible debris before trying to clean the contact.
The contact cleaning will not do any harm or be dangerous also if the battery is swollen. And also it won't take much time. But if you see already that the back cover is coming apart, of course you need to be carefully and if you don't have skills, better bring it to a technician.
I was able to use a SIM card pin to clean my port. Thanks. This was a real life saver. I've never had this happen before since I used to always have a phone case that covered the port. But I had to get a different one recently and all of a sudden my charger stopped fitting. I was really worried I would have to get a new phone.
I thought I had cleaned my port before and that it didn't work. I feel like I tried for about a half an hour. Eventually, i got the dirt out and it fixed it. Shit was really in there
Thank you sooo much my friend, you just saved me 40$, i was told that i had a broken connector and then i stumbled across your video, it helped me a lot THANK YOU!!
@@CrocFIXi got a problem about my phone actually not charging to max anymore with even slow recharging when 10 days ago it still charged from 14% to 100%, now it takes 8 hours to charge and all its a samsung A21s and its 3 years old
Thanks man it worked perfectly. I did first and it didn't work I tried again and dug deeper and worked there was a small little bit of tissue in there and now it worke perfectly thank you so much
A toothpick is a bad idea, because it's to thick. Look carrefully inside the port. Depends of your phone, it could be also a faulty charging port or a faulty flex cable. This is only one of the common solutions. Good luck
@@NWITZI Yes, a repair shop will do it if you don't have any other experience. Which model is yours? I have another solution in another video on my channel.
TYSM, I feared the worst, however seeing this I took a needle to the port and pulled at a load of white fluff. Now charging again and keeping my beloved 7 going for a bit longer
@@CrocFIX Im having a bit of trouble i cleaned the port but it isnt working i think it has something to do with the tip of the charger can you help me
Hi my friend thank you so much I think my phone had like kind of dirt too wasn't visible but I clean it up with I hair pin gently than my phone started to work hopefully It keeps charging because I have no money to repair it or to buy another phone so thank you you did me great favor God bless you ❤❤❤❤
My phone was not charged, was checking in you tube randomly I found your video ,it was really helpful, little bit of dirt was inside charging slot as you said! Thank you so much
THANK YOU SO MUCH!! After hours of panic, turns out one of my nails was trapped in there 🤮, I really need to get out of the habit of picking them off...
I had a similar issue but it wasn't really dirty. After scratching it and probably almost ruining the charging port, I noticed it was not going in just on one side. There was a piece of paper in there and it was really camouflaged, being white. Be mindful, in case it happens to you, not to ruin your phone for nothing.
If you are carefully, nothing happens, as there is no power delivery at this point, when the cable is not attached. But to be 100%, you can use something made from plastic or wood. But you need again to be carefully, that this tool is not too thick, otherwise you will damage or bend the port.
I found what works well are those soft tooth floss sticks. They have little spike or like little stubble hair on them. They r rubber, thin and flexible.
@@Emzy17 Because it's a short it needed to be cuted. The point is there is dirt inside which needs to be removed. I'm glad I could help you with my video. Hope you Subscribe, cuz in the next video I will show you how your Phone can cook a Coffee in the morning 🤣
What if my phone charges in the car but not at home in the wall? I use the same cable and the cable works fine in other phones, just my phone won't charge at all at home. What should I do?
@@RepyTheLoser Depends what is faulty. Replacing the charging port could be between $40-$80 depends where you live and which phone you have. Which phone you have?
Mine says charging but I haven't got anything connected to it, I tried powering it off but it doesn't work, when I put the charger in, percentage don't change it's stuck!
Try reseting the phone and try again. Android: hold all buttons until the phone restarts, iphone: in order...volume up, volume down, then hold the power button until it restarts
@@CrocFIX thanks, what could be damaged? so far I tried to look inside, I see no dirt, when I had an iphone i could take out dust. Here (oppo) nothing comes out when i try to clean but Ill try tomorrow again.
Update it was dirt: i tried over and over on my own and couldn't clean it 100%.... Today i brought it to a repair service, they cleaned it with some special cleanser and cleaning technique, now it works and I am happy ! ☺️☺️☺️
I got a new 25 watt Samsung charger with a USB C connector and a new 10ft charging cable with USB C connectors on both ends and it is super fast charging now. I won't leave the phone connected when using it after fully charged so the charging cable won't get the bend stress anymore and it is working fine with my phone set to max charge at 85% now.
Why so negative my friend. This is just one of many solutions and it did help many users. If this is not helping it means there is another problem with the phone. Have a nice day ;)
@@artaxerxes2363 I know it sounds so. But if the little small contacts in the cable don't touche the small contacts in the port, because of dirt, the phone won't charge.
