I did SO many things wrong when I first got my girl and now three years later I'm working very hard to build the bond I never had with her❤️

All so true. I have found that the bonds I have had with each rabbit over the years is different. My lovely old Wren would follow me like a dog but could be standoffish when I initiated the interaction. Blue, was super empathetic and would come and lick me when I was sad, but wasn't big on play and hated being stoked anywhere but his head (but would demand that for hours). My current rabbits Pixie & Hob couldn't care less if I was a blubbering wreck in the corner of the room, but are goofy and love to play with me. All my rabbit have been rescues and I have learned if YOU fit around their wants and needs and except them for them, then a bond will grow.

Thank you so much for another great video. A few days ago my rabbit slipped through his harness and bolted around our estate. He finally lied down to hide and I managed to pick him up however in doing so he screamed. It was the most horrifying sound. He has been out hundreds of times and this was no different, he even got excited when I showed him his harness. As someone with severe anxiety he is my lifeline and I can’t imagine what I would have done if we didn’t get him back! He is fine now after realising it was me who picked him up. He has had lots of attention and I’ve offered him different hay treats to make sure he doesn’t go into fi stasis

Thank you so much!! Your channel helped my bunny so so much! The other day he passed away due to GI stasis. We did all we could and brought him to the vet 3 days and by the third he was gone. Thank you and I hope to get another soon!

The addition of "bad energy" is really important for us owners. I have had extraordinary stress in the past month and my rabbit feels it. On top of this, she may have had some trauma before I got her at 2 months old. If your life is very stressful, I would not have a bunny as a pet. I may have to give her up or re-home her as a result.

Great video. And great reminders. We just took in a new rescue and she is the most timid rabbit I have ever met but she had a horrible start to life. She won’t allow us to touch her at all so we are just doing hand sniffs at the moment. I am hoping that we can slowly gain her confidence!

So yesterday we actually adopted a bunny! Cocoa is 3 months old and he’s a Orange Holin Loop bunny! He’s been a very social Bunny, letting us pick him up after the first day, Perching on us, and sitting on our laps. It didn’t take him very long to create a nice bond, I mean we do need a little more work but Cocoa is doing amazing. Before we got him I watched so many of your videos I thought we would have troubles with the bunny, especially since we have a dog. Your videos including this one helped us so much thank you Morgan! Can you also do a video on “How to make a Bunny channel” and “Things to do with a Bunny if your board” Also a video about “Bunny DIYS!” Well I hope you use an idea, bye!

Hello Morgan! I am getting a bunny for my birthday BUT I need to know one thing. I have a VERY important question so here it is. Do I need to free roam my Bunny at night? I'm going to keep the bunny inside my room, and I will free roam it, but I don't know if I have to at night. I'm sharing a room with my sister so I'm scared the bunny will poop everywhere since it will be a baby. Love your channel and I hope you and Cinnabun is having a Bunnytastic day

Hey! Thank you for this video! I adopted a bunny last week and she is 2 years old. She was the greeter bunny at the animal sanctuary/shelter so she is super friendly and loves to climb on my lap! An issue I’m having is getting her to settle down and go to bed at night. I know you give Cinnabun her stick, but I was wondering if there was a way to keep her from digging at the door and thumping to come out of her room in the middle of the night?

any advice for those who have other animals in the home?? I have my rabbit in a rom for herself but it is hard to spend 80% of my time with her when I need to tend to my other animals in the home too whenever I have down time I do spend it with her and there are times she gets to explore outside of her room

I'm fortunate that all animals trust me (am I disney princess?) and my bunny started giving me kisses 5 minutes after he met me. But I'm always on animals level when I first met them, show them my hands and stay there, if they want to come and sniff they can, if not, I would stay on their level and not come closer. So I think important thing is to respect animal's boundaries. If they don't want to come to you, don't force them. They will become curious eventually and come to you.

crying rn bc i feel so sad bc my bunny never bonds with me or wants to come out :( i feel like she just sees me as food. i got her in june from a pet shop and got her bc she was so sweet and had two-three litters apparently so i wanted to give her a good life bc she seemed sweet. im trying so hard still to bond with her but she never sits with me or comes to me. i lay on the floor all the time in front of her cage to try and get out, shes over a year, so ik she needs time to trust, but it makes me so sad but i dont want to give up. i like in a dorm apartment style, with hard tile and ik they cant walk well on that but i try and put blankets down and stuff but she never comes out or wants to be with me :( ive tried to give her treats and get low down with her and not pick her up but she just doesnt like me :(

I am so worried ab my bunny I adopted a month ago she has a huge x pen and can free roam but she is not interested in playing or exploring much she lets me pick her up and hold her and will always lay on you when you hold her but I can’t tell if she is happy or not she never comes up to me and will not eat any treats out of my hands and had not much interest in food. I’ve watched so many videos and tried to follow all the tips and am trying so hard but don’t know what is wrong

She typically doesn’t like me petting her so I try once or twice occasionally if she slowly inches away I stop trying. I don’t ever pick her up she hates it

My 6 year old rabbit is still doing it when I scratch it. He does not like and says: do not touch. Warns sometimes also with teeth and front paws 😅 My other rabbits have liked ☺️ Kaapo is just different, but just as dear 🥰

Also, if you know you aren’t able to bond with them at their awake times or are away a lot, get a second rabbit and bond them! Leaving alone a bunny is cruel.
